He "Jay Z" told this story in his biography on camera. He him self told how he was given the job of bag boy,from a Puerto Rican bodaga owner, standing on a NYC street corner selling rocks, cops started taking his picture, then offered him a way out, Jay-Z sold out bodaga owner and his crew, on a set up deal that happened in London, Jay z stayed behind while his friends went to prison. -Fck him with bullets!!!!!!

@savokgrim41312 жыл бұрын
@@tamunosakiwestscott-bloack2229 What are you talking about man. It was Ja Rule, along with others in the industry, that were holding 50 back. How could 50 do it to him when Rule was on the spotlight and killing it? Dre and Em were the only one's, aside from one other (RIP), that had the balls to sign 50 despite the call to blackball 50. They beefed, and Rule fell off, those are not the same thing. 50 read Game like a book, but conceded to Dre and Em's wishes. He even reluctantly helped Game, and then Game went and did himself in. You can't shit where you eat, and you don't fire at the family. Even Snoop recognized when he stepped out of line. This goes for Young Buck too. IDK why you are bringing Jadakiss into it as if 50 had pull to hold an OG like Jada back. Jada went on to do songs with Em. If anyone held Jada back it was Diddy. And if not, I bet money Jada takes the DMX stand and say it was Jay. Having lyrical beefs with other rappers isn't holding anyone back. Using your pull to blackball other artist from live shows or radio show, shelving their albums, or timing the releases of albums to conflict/compete with bigger artist who's shadow would deny the target plays is holding someone back. Examples: New York Hip-Hop to 50, The Source and Murder Inc., when they went out of their way to sabotage Obie Trice, 50, Eminem, D12, and any act associated with Shady/Aftermath. Then there is Diddy. From 112 to Ma$e, that man stay holding the talent back. Jay-z to Nas (admittedly, the Jury is still out on that one.)
