What could it be about splitting people up into "oppressors" and "oppressed", and then forcing them to focus on their differences, that might lead to increased bigotry?

@@caveatlector2671 and you don’t get that metaphors (for mind worms or other) do not always have to be locked onto a specific pattern. But they usually are, because most people are not able to abstract concepts learned by rote. By using “pink elephants,” you were not in fact introducing the concept of a mind worm, you were instead _referencing_ the time someone introduced _you_ to the concept of a mind worm, by tricking you into thinking of pink elephants. If you really understood the concept of the mind worm on a greater than surface level, you would not necessarily have used “pink elephants” but come up with your own mind worm.

This reminds me of an episode of "Rabbids Invasion". There are seven white rabbids in an Observation Room (OR). As part of an experiment, the Scientists take one of the rabbids, paint him blue and return him to the OR. Because he was a different color, the other rabbids shun him at first and then make fun of him. Feeling isolated, the blue rabbid sits alone in a corner. Then the Scientists take another rabbid, paint him blue, and return him to the OR. The two blue rabbids bond. The process continues and eventually it is four blue rabbids and three white rabbids. The two groups get into a conflict, making fun of each other and performing slapstick attacks. It is resolved when the Scientists paint one rabbid half blue, and that rabbid becomes a peacemaker and things end peacefully.... until, as the episode ends, the Scientists put a red rabbid into the OR.

The other thing I took him to task on was the hyphenated American... shouldn't we all just be Americans-if there was to be "equality"? The final blow I dealt to him was to point out that Diversity and equality were mutually exclusive to meritocracy. Who would he rather perform a high risk life or death surgery on him: a white Dr. that graduated at the top of his class, or a black Dr. that graduated at the bottom of his class? Then the mental gymnastics began as to why he wouldn't chose the best outcome Dr, just because he's white! The smoke from the hamster wheel in his head was detectable.

When you take the least racist group of them all, and you call them the worst name in the book, and you breed race-awareness in them, what could possibly go wrong? I have no clue. Let's try this marvelous idea and find out!

13:09 I knew it was the case at Harvard to some degree, but that other school as well? what the actual feth... what other schools were playing this game. and people want this to stay this way. what a reminder of feeling incapable when bonuses like this where going around and that other group of students still couldn't handle it. is this why they freaked seeing my scores back when, before this got as bad as it has recently?

As Mig Tau simply ignores whamen and they label it as hate, so do the woke label not interfering with in-group preference as hate. The response from here is a whole lot of, "I don't care."

It’s 4D chess actually. They’re MAKING the racism they’ve been complaining about to have racism to complain about in the future.

It really got traction under the 0bama administration, when they discovered that there wasn't enough White Supremacists to blame racial problems on. So they had to make more. 🤔

Wasn't this the purpose to begin with? DEI is nothing more than The Sword of Damocles for the working class. We didn't have a need for DEI and I don't remember anyone asking for this 💩
