John Steinbeck's son, John Steinbeck IV was there when he was young. He wrote a book about it, which he showed to me in Del Mar California at a surfer's coffee shop, mere months before his death. I warned him then saying, 'They will kill you, for that.' I thoroughly enjoyed this lecture. The book he showed me disappeared like his father's one and only play, cowritten by Burgess Merideth. He had cowritten his observations with Errol Flynn's son Sean, who's disappearance he labeled a "Friendly Fire" assasination. Nixon's "Enemies List". Confirmed by CBS News early in 2016. His wife substituted her own work, attached to his name posthumously. He had been about to divorce her. "Means, motive, opportunity." This illuminating video conveys much of what he had printed, that was lost. I think he might have liked that. Thank you.
