When you said, "Don't forget to close/lock your sliding back door." I about fell out. I am in a new place and have 2 roommates. The person that owns the house went out of town and I was here by myself and have noticed that the sliding glass door does not always lock. This particular day it was not locking at all. WTF??? I always double check all locks before going to bed and during the day, if I am home. When you have previously have been a victim of a crime it puts you on edge. I had to modify that night and found some stuff in the garage and did not sleep well at all that night. There are cameras everywhere on the property and inside the home, that provides some false sense of security. There are also 2 large dogs. Next morning, I went to the hardware store to have a steel pipe cut to the length of the door track and put it in myself.
