I've started to meditate at Juhu Beach in Mumbai and one day, there was a lot of noise. It was the weekend and there was a marriage at one of the hotels so I decided to play this video and close my eyes as I faced the beach. I lost sense of direction as the music progressed, felt as if I was going along with waves to some destination unknown to me, and felt deeply calm after I opened my eyes. When I listen to this, I get transported to a different (perhaps hypothetical?) world, where there is nothing but the joy of living, where music and life and beauty merges together to form one seamless thread of consciousness. Only the greatest of musicians can transport you to that hypothetical world, where you would wish to continue living for eternity. Such divine music.flows from your ears to your soul. All i wish is that people would stop spreading hate in the comments. You can like justin bieber ,emo rap and indian classical all at the same time. All music has its appeal, its audience and its own emotion. Just because you dont like one kind of music does not mean its trash. IMO Indian classical music takes some time to understand and appreciate, so the younger audience tends to lean towards western and catchy music.nothing wrong with that but I believe we need to make it more mainstream and popular in India so more people can appreciate thier own culture.
