I ABSOLUTELY love this ministry. I have a son recently diagnosed with autism, which has put a lot on my plate. But I'm going to go to the website and pray about getting involved with this ministry. What a beautiful way to honor the blessed Mother and the vocation of motherhood.

The Blessed Virgin Mary is not only our spiritual mother, she is the library of the life, works and teachings of Jesus. Hence, anyone who wants to know Jesus, he/she must consult the Blessed Virgin Mary.

An absolutely wonderful reflection appropriate for Mother 's Day on Sunday. We have to be very grateful to our Heavenly Father for our earthly mother and for Jesus giving us His mother .No one can take the place of a mother. How well God the Father knew it and so did His Son, Jesus. Thank you very much Rev.Fr.Chris for bringing this idea home to us. May God bless you and your congregation always. Your parents and Pam and her family are in my daily prayers.. I've received endless and silent miracles from Jesus. I live alone but He's always by my side. What a friend we have in Jesus. Amen

Thank you for this beautiful episode on Mary, Fr. Chris. You give us the opportunity to express our love and gratitude to her as our spiritual Mother. She never fails to assist us when we’re in need of maternal care, we can be sad and cry in pain, but she smiles and gives healing and consolation. When she meets Jesus carrying His cross to Calvary, both of them feel each other’s pain, how much more for us with our little pains. She guides us to Jesus who can do more for us with a childlike trust and confidence.

The ministry is an example of the unique role women have. As a man, it never would have crossed my mind that a woman considering abortion could be encouraged to reconsider through a baby shower. But it makes sense that a woman and especially a mother would have that insight.

People always say that Jesus gave John Mary as his mother because he was the youngest apostle but he didn’t need a mother because his own mother was there at the cross with him. That would’ve been an insult to her

What a lovely inspiring lady doing so much in her local Catholic community for women and babies. Wonderful
Yes Jesus gave His Mom to His Apostle John & according to our early Church Father's who interpret Christ's Word to apply to all of his followers[where in Bible do His Word only apply to those living when He walked on Earth?] Christ next told His Mother(calling her Woman* during His near final* breaths)that John was her son, which our early Ch.Fathrs interpret as Mary became all of His followers' spiritual Mother. * Woman, as from Old Testament reference to the 1st Eve( Mother of the human race) , then, Christ is calling Mary the 2nd Eve * a dying Man's testimony acceptable by Law

At 9:45 Peace of Christ Father Chris, Scripture only knows two men who never experienced natural death. Enoch lived before the great Flood. We read the following about him: “And all the days of Henoch were three hundred and sixty-five years. And he walked with God, and was seen no more: because God took him.” (Genesis 5:23-24, D-R) Concerning Elias we read that he was taken up in a Chariot of Fire: “And as they went on, walking and talking together, behold, a fiery chariot and fiery horses parted them both asunder: and Elias went up by a whirlwind into heaven.” (2 Kings 2:11, D-R) As you can see, these two men did not die. According to St Thomas Aquinas, they are preserved in the atmospheric heaven (which is identified with earthly paradise), but not in the empyrean heaven (Heaven proper). See Summa theologiae III, q. 49, a. 5. Saint Thomas, in agreement with the Church Fathers explains why Enoch and Elias are waiting out there in outer space. Saint Thomas writes these two men will return at the end of time to do battle with the Antichrist. (As we read on revelation 11:3-12)) It is unthinkable that these two men would never die since this is contrary to the Apostolic teaching: “And as it is appointed unto men once to die, and after this the judgment:” (Hebrews 9:27, D-R) + 4:5 Behold I will send you Elias the prophet, before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. 4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers: lest I come, and strike the earth with anathema. (Malachi 4:5-6) + 3 And I will grant my two witnesses authority to prophesy for one thousand two hundred sixty days, wearing sackcloth." 4 These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone wants to harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes; anyone who wants to harm them must be killed in this manner. 6 They have authority to shut the sky, so that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying, and they have authority over the waters to turn them into blood, and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. 7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up from the bottomless pit will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, 8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that is prophetically called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified. 9 For three and a half days members of the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will gaze at their dead bodies and refuse to let them be placed in a tomb; 10 and the inhabitants of the earth will gloat over them and celebrate and exchange presents, because these two prophets had been a torment to the inhabitants of the earth. 11 But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and those who saw them were terrified. 12 Then they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, "Come up here!" And they went up to heaven in a cloud while their enemies watched them. (Revelation 11:3-12) + Also you can read more about Saints Enoch and Elijah in the writings of Saint John of Damascus, Sainte Hildegard, Blessed Maria de Agreda, Saint Ephrem (Syriac), Blessed Anne Katherine Emerich, Saint Gregory the great, and in La Salette apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary...

Love this channel. But how can the word for "leapt", be the same for the 2 stories! One was in Hebrew, the other, Greek. A little misleading! Because those 2 languages, 1 was semitic with no vowels, the other, ancient Greek from an alphabet with vowels long after the classical Hellenistic age with little connection to Hebrew.

We always refer to the world's term of "sex" as MR* on our calendar * Marriage Relations...because that's the only perspective we taught out children that it belongs.. that God's loving way never changes or becomes outdated, antiquated, or, oldfashioned...His is the only Way..because He knows us & loves us more than anyone

Here in England, Mother's Day is not kept in May, it is kept on Laetare/Refreshment/Mid-Lent Sunday, the 4th Sunday in Lent, 3 weeks before Easter. This can be appropriate, as it is quite often close to the Solemnity of the Annunciation. However we keep Father's Day on the same day as you, in June.
