This was a fascinating talk father! Thank you. When my papa died I was 9 years old. I was overcome with grief. I cried myself to sleep every night for a year. One night in my sleep I went out to the street in downtown Portland. The sky opened up & my papa came down from the clouds in a royal rosarian suit doing an Irish jig. He told me not to touch him. He sat down next to me & we spoke for a long time. He reassured me that my gramma wasn't gonna die soon... that she live to be very old... that id be old when she died. (I was 50) he told me many things then he said he had to go & I could touch him now. I jumped in his lap & he held me in his arms. I could feel him like he was real. I started laughing ... out loud ... I woke up & I was actually laughing happily... totally healed inside. I never cried for my papa again. I believe God allowed my papa to come see me to heal me cuz i wasn't OK. It was wonderful.

@ Maureen Banks Thanks for your story because I had a very terrible time of it when my dad passed. One night when sleeping my dad was in a beach lounge chair and I in another. We were in the shape of a Capital L. We extended our arms but couldn't touch, but then my dad held out his arm and I could grab his finger! My dads' finger felt as real in my hand as if it was physical. And I fell asleep immediately. I believe God and my dad knew I needed healing from his passing and that was how God did that. My dad doesn't come to me as often but at another time, my dad did tell me to pray to SAINT JOACHIM, grandfather of JESUS. There is a spiritual realm and a physical realm. When I hear the music to the prayer of ST. RITA of CASIA, I know ST. RITA of CASIA wants me to pray to her. When I hear the music to EWTNS' LITANY OF ST. JOSEPH, I know ST. JOSEPH wants me to pray to him. There's no TV on, no CD or DVD playing, no radio, only I hear it. Nobody else. God does hear us and God does hear our prayers. Many times youtube takes this comment down, but I keep telling that story because it's true and it can happen to others, also. God bless you🙏🏻🙏🙏🏽

Thank you Father. I saw my husband about a month after he died. I came in the door with groceries in my arms and he was sitting in his usual chair. He looked at me but didn’t speak. I dropped the grocery bag on the floor. I was filled with awe. I said nothing . I noticed that he had colors of the same old shirt he used to wear. He then just sort of floated out the glass sliding door. My daughter asked a priest about it and he said that he was looking for prayers and it wasn’t unusual. After hearing that I thought I had received a great grace from God.

Fr Chris’ talks are a perfect of example of how good can come from evil or hardships; Many of us only heard about him after Covid started when he had to stop traveling , record, & post his speeches from his home. If most Christians had this kind of Christian education as children & teens, they wouldn’t fall away from the faith.

I wouldn't recommend communicating with anyone deceased. The old priests all say it's forbidden, but continue to offer mass. There are some cases of an apparation following or appearing in the home regularly. Some of these aren't a human spirit.

i was praying the Lords prayer because i was worried that my deceased who had taken his life might not be in heaven. God assured me with this dream. i had a dream the other night of my deceased loved one, where he was sitting next to me in his church with his hand on my shoulder, in the right middle of the pews, and people were around us talking to me. it was like as if i had been living with him and we had a commitment because it was implied telepathically that i was living with him. then we parted ways when communion started. i went to the front and he went to the back (he worked at the church on the organ) it felt so real. it never happened in this life. he invited me to live with him there but i didnt accept him. i broke his heart and he took his life.... the dream was so real though. i had asked God if He is real then please send me a dream about Jon. so God answered my prayer . i woke up so peaceful. i wanted to go back to sleep to see him again..God assured me that Jon is with Him in his house

This talk was amazing ❤️ I wish I would have heard it sooner. It was my sensitivity to spirit since the age of 11, that made me feel I wouldn’t be excepted by the Catholic Church, that something was wrong with me and drove me towards new age practice. Not something I asked for, just apart of who I am. I thought I would be an outcast and just wanted to have control over what I was experiencing, and all I found outside the church, was more fear and manipulation. Now I know the truth. Now I know that the greatest weapon I have against evil spirits IS my catholic faith!! Thank you father yet again ❤️

Sometimes he would come just to hug me and show me love. Other times he would just be in the background watching. No one else in the family, my Mom, 2 sister & 2 brothers, had any dreams about him.I have also dreamt about other relatives that have passed, who also have given me messages. I have never been afraid, always happy and thankful that I got see them again. Ma Vi What makes you think it was evil? Why does something paranormal that is obviously out of your comprehension have to be evil? Ghosts have been around for thousands and thousands of years. They are a natural phenomena like sound waves. Most hauntings are an etheric replay of events that happened long ago and reappear from time to time to psychically sensitive individuals. Why would the Catholic Church be any kind of authority on this subject? And who cares whether they believe in them or not?

I enjoyed this so much! I'm not Catholic but was raised in the Methodist Church. In my faith we were encouraged to question and have interests in things we didn't understand. In some other protestant (but not all) churches people were not allowed to question and kids were often punished for it. When the subject of ghosts came up some branches of protestantism often said there were no such things as ghosts and if you saw things like this even in your dreams they were ALL demons. This often scared kids into not even wanting to sleep. I thought this was cruel. In my church however ghosts were acknowledged but not much else was said. They just existed. Your Catholic explanation was the best I have ever heard from the clergy. Thank you so much for this video!

So every night I heard these foot steps I felt that he was there to protect us. By the church teachings this was possible, I was never sure, thank you, he also visited my mother & sister in law, when I was home having my daughter. They stayed there to help look after my son for a day & night when my husband had to work that night. He scared them so much they had no sleep. God Bless

Since June I have lost my sister, mother, cousin, aunt and two friends. I have been praying a decade on my rosary every night for their souls and another decade for those in purgatory. This video has me in tears. I'm shocked as I have never believed in ghosts or souls coming to us to ask for prayers. I now realize how important it is to pray for those in purgatory, and signs that I have dismissed over the years. Thank you Father Chris, once again, for all the videos you make that teach us so much.

Fr.Chris, My mother taught me in First Grade to obey and respect my teacher, which I always did, and I even remember them in my prayers, while they are living and after they have died. I recommend them to God to have mercy to them and accept them in heaven for the goodness they have done to me. I hope this can inspire other students, and parents, because its not easy to be a good teacher, especially in our modern times. I thank God for my teachers. Amen. 🥰

Absolutely love your talks! I am so glad I found them when Covid hit...you are a God send. I teach 5th grade at a Catholic School in California and I cannot tell you how much your talks "explaining the faith" has enriched my lessons for my students. You think you know something and then you realize you were only scratching the surface. Thank you! A great example of how much your talks have touched the lives of my students... One of my student decided to run for Religion commissioner on our Student Council and in his speech he said...My family and I have always gone to Mass, but I never really paid that much attention, but this year I really started to listen, and I really started to enjoy it. He has even expressed an interested in becoming a priest.

Fr. Chris, your talk about good ghosts and bad ones is real per my experiences. My mom just died a week after serving as a retreat helper, falling down on the floor at the retreat, being comatose for 2 days and passing away from stroke. That same week I felt her presence in my sleep and woke up crying. It felt real because I felt her presence since we were not able to talk to her before she died. I prayed for her soul after my crying and felt better. Another instance happened when I stayed at a boarding house. Everytime I entered my room, I felt a presence and would have goose bumps from fear. I told my Jesuit priest friend about it. He advised me to pray the rosary, light a candle and sprinkle holy water walk around the house praying with the residents. After we did this, my bad feeling when I entered the room stopped and there was peace in me and the whole house. When I married a widower, whose wife died of cancer and moved to his place, I felt something, a presence. I consulted our priest and thru the permission of our parish priest, said mass at our home and blessed the whole house, praying and following his lead. After this, I felt an inner peace in my new home. Thank you very much for your lecture. God bless!

We are all intercessors, meaning that we can pray for each other and for the souls in Purgatory, who cannot pray for themselves. This is valid Catholic Church teaching. And Jesus told us to ask in His Name. We pray inHis Name.

I am really enjoying the learning here in Ireland, thank you and God bless you and your colleagues in sharing these teachings with us. Please pray that we may find a new home as our landlord has asked us to leave our house and rental property is very scarce. My very grounded mum was on night duty as a nurse when the staff started hearing rattling glasses, doors banging and footsteps in an unused area of the building. Eventually one of the nurses say the cause of the noise, a deceased nurse in an older uniform and they recognised her as a retired nurse who had died recently following a quick illness. So they called a priest who helped her on her way and she never came back RIP. Prayer not fear gets us there.

Father Chris I have to admit to going to have cards read and my palms read. I have had my coffee grounds read. Watched many shows of mediums on tv. Even as a child I had a cousin who brought us a quigi board. It did not stay in the house for long. Some friends of mine tried levitating one another at a party. These all seemed innocent. My friend who used to read my coffee grounds. She felt it was a gift from God. I stopped along time ago as I have been trying to grow more in my faith. I am so sorry I did not realize I was being so sinful. I ask for God's forgiveness now and when I go to confession.. I ask now for you to please pray that my sins will be forgiven. Thank you

Thank you Fr. Chris, this is helpful! I had an experience in my house which was middle of the night alarming. Then in my ignorance I prayed and tried to guide “the soul” to God. It played along, but wreaked more havoc until I prayed about it in adoration of Our Blessed Lord. It must have been demonic. (I never really thought I’d have an experience like that.) A Catholic Deacon has since blessed the house. I’m so grateful for our faith! Thanks be to God✨🙏✨

I got tricked like that once, thinking it was a Purgatory soul. Apparently, it was a demon, and another one was there, too. The other one got jealous of the first one, because I believed it to be a soul. Then they started arguing with each other over me. Oh my gosh, I was horrified and called on Jesus right away. I will never do that again. I Was new in that house. I came to know that it was extremely haunted because rituals had been done there. I was too innocent to notice the signs back then.

Hi Fr. Chris, I really enjoyed watching this. I usually watch these talks later in the day because I need to give my brain the time it needs to "wake and come alive" lol. When I did watch this it kind of reminded me of an interesting experience that I never had before the day my grandmother died, that still baffles me but yet doesn't. My grandma was also a Marian Helper probably for several years before she passed away. The simple reason why I know this is because on March 29,1998 my grandmother had a Mass said for me at the Shrine. I still have the card after all these years later. Exactly one year later to the day on March 29, 1999 in the early morning hours, which was the Monday of Holy Week my grandmother passed away. As soon as I woke up that morning something didn't feel right but I didn't know what. I worked in the mornings and not too long after I got home from work my Dad phoned me to tell me that my grandmother passed away. While Dad was telling me this I experienced the absolute most peaceful feeling rush over me that I never had before. To this day I still think it was God's way of reassuring me that my Grandmother probably went straight to Heaven without any time in Purgatory. In the early '80s she received Holy Communion by Pope John Paul ll at a Mass of outside of Winnipeg during the first trip the pope made to Canada. I have actually seen the actual certificate. Is God well known for letting a loved one on earth know about when/if a relative goes straight to Heaven once that person immediately passes away ?

You may be right about that. Some years ago my great aunt died and when her daughter phoned her daughter to let her know that her grandmother had passed, her daughter anwered the phone and she told her mother "I know, I wasawoken just berfore you called,I just heard the most beautiful music,it was so beautiful and comforting" That was probably a message similar to yours.

Thank you Fr. Chris for your wonderful talk. May the Almighty God bless you and fill you with the holy spirit. My aunt who had lost her 14 year old elder daughter, once told me that she saw her daughter in her dream , and that she said mama do not cry , I m fine . And she said that I than knew she was in heaven and never cried again . My mom too experienced the same when we lost our 8 year old younger sister, mom prayed to God and asked him to show where she is now, that night my mom saw a luminous beam of light and when she looked below she saw my sister sleeping there like an angel in peace . I too have seen my sister many times like as if she was giving us a msg . Also after my grandmother died she visited me in my dream and blessed me. All we have to do is pray for their soul and they pray for you back.
