Thanks so much! Regarding 1 I have to ask back: color corrected, you mean? 2. Classic camcorders like the Ax100 are easier to use in general, due to crop factor, focussing etc. it´s just point and shoot. (Don´t know so much about the AF quality of the Sony, to be honest. You have to check that somewhere else). DSLMs like the Pana are more demanding, but I really love the filmlook image, the DOF and the general "sound" of the images, just beautiful. But you have to know something about the common rules of photography, videography when you use that cam, such as aperture use, lenses etc. And I knew that before I bought that cam. For me it took a while to figure out an AF preset for the GH4 that almost always delivers safe, meaning sharp images.

+Marcel Steuermann Yes, i mean in terms of colour correction, it's such a stunning few seconds! I know what you mean by the sound, and it's gorgeous. Is that a setting or part of the way it shoots? thanks

+Marcel Steuermann The sound is sort of silver, which is really nice especially in the beginning clips!

+TheMarkenzo007 Well, yes and no. I shot in a rather flat profile setting, so pretty desaturated with less contrast, then started the color processing by adjusting the lows, greys and highs (sometimes tricky with underwater footage) by using the color wheels, and finally adjusted a certain kind of look. Hitfilm´s "Vibrance" plug in was indeed very helpful to created that crispy or silver look that you mention.

Hi, what an extraordinary video! I have just a couple of questions; 1. is the first clip (barracuda) visually edited? 2. I'm trying to decide either between getting the Panasonic GH4 or the Sony Ax-100 for diving, any advice ? Thanks!

+Marcel Steuermann Hello, thank you for answer me. I am using HC1 cameras and BS Kinetics Mojave housing.I am from Germany and know the people from BS Kinetics. You can watch a short version of my Palau trip as well , under Peter Kunzmann Palau Impressionen. Not a good quality as your, but it is much better on TV with blue ray. Are you from US ? I am living in Florida half time of the year, and diving the springs and Ocean.

+Marcel Steuermann Hello, I have more questions, if you don´t mind !? What is the camera in your housing and what editing program do you use? I just started with Final Cut X. Peter

Peter
