DIVING INTO FIRE! - Canadair CL-415 Firefighting - Croatian Air Force

For the last week, a series of wildfires erupted near Žrnovnica, Croatia. First started with a lightning storm then helped by strong winds. As one wildfire ends, another one starts due to embers flying with strong winds. This particular wildfire started above the source of the river Žrnovnica and spread up the mountain due to high winds again. What made things worse for the aerial firefighters was the shortage of time to react with only 90 minutes to help out the ground forces before darkness. And the terrain itself and a mass of high powered power lines. In some cases the CL-415 was basically dive bombing water on the fire. Thankfully, this wildfire was localized during the night.

Great work, we can see their different techniques. The blast effect when they drop water from low altitude (4:53), and also when they drop from a higher altitude, how the water creates a wet barrier so it slows down the force of the flames (2:05) .

Parabem trabalho exelemte de aviões e pilotos no combate à incêndio. Só pra ressaltar. Agora é que vem a ideia passo pra vocês ai do estados Unidos pegue esses aviões adaptem tipo chuveiros nas azaz porque vai sair água mais devagar bom. Eu falo depois que amenizar o foco de icemdio passe chuveiamdo a s cidade ums 1o pu vinte lado alado estou falando da fuligem que fica no ar. E continuem a chuveirar de 1 a2 dias iai vocês vão ver a diferença da paisagem falo isso porque tem crianças com falta respiração idosos até gestantes com falta de ar pemssamdo nisso mim veio essa ideia não estou pedindo pra fazer. Não custa tentar. Tirei a baze quamdo chove e cheguei a conclusão sistema ambiental mim desculpe se eu tiver errado mas pode salvar vidas sistema respiratório. Vatrogasci laganini dok vojska gasi

Sramite se lazljivce i pokvarenjace jedan. Vatrogascima su otpala jaja na ovom pozaru, pa cijelu sirinu pozara su okruzili s cijevnim prugama i to tijekom cijele noci. A nije lako se probijati nocu s cijevima na ledjima kroz tezak nepristupacan teren, pun mlade borovine koja raste kao korov, kao i ostataka drvene mase od pozara iz 2017. godine. Naprotiv lako je sra.i iz udobnost svoje sobe pod klimom. Inace dok djeluju kanaderi vatrogasci ne smiju biti tocno na podrucju djelovanja, trebaju biti udaljeni barem pedesetak metara.
