Diving in cold water is an incredible experience. Follow along and explore the northwest Pacific Ocean, full of massive kelp forests that are home to an abundance of marine life. Keep an eye out for anemone, lumpsuckers, wolf eels, nudibranchs and king crabs.

I was there yesterday with a friend trying to freedive and in 2 minutes of us getting in the water, we look down and see an octopus 🐙 Then as we're looking at that, a seal glides past, between us and the wall (maybe 5 ft away) Crazy!

Very Cool. Ogden point is likely the most dove spot in Victoria. Nice that you got to see a few kinds of Nudi's. I love the Puget Sound King Crab. THere is a photo on the Vancouver Island Freediving page, where 2 divers saw a 10-11lbs Puget Sound King Crab. Really incredible. I dove there for New Years day. Got a few other hidden gems around here too!

They start on the surface and can grow up to 50m in length! Pretty epic stuff.
