Thank you for your comment. It is very sad how many sharks are killed every year by uncontrolled fishing and illegal trade of their fins. We are trying to raise awareness of this issue (largely unknown to most people)

@chrcook01 that is correct That statistic refers to all-in risk or chances, not specific for any particular activity. Indeed interacting with sharks directly increases the chances of accidents, although they very very rarely act hostile towards divers. With all precautions taken, near all interactions with these beautiful creatures are safe and amazing. I invite to watch the latest video on sharks I posted in the channel 3 weeks ago.
