For 11. Just add the alternating digits, then subtract their sums. For example: 6 457 is divisible by 11 because the sum of alternating digits are, 6+5=11 and 4+7=11. Then, when we subtract 11-11=0

For 8. Just get the last 3 digits. If it is divisible by 8, then the whole number is divisible by 8. For example: 2 848 is divisible by 8 because the last 3 digits, 848 is divisible by 8. When you divide 848 by 8 the answer is 106.

How come 308 is divisible by 11?

Yes..Check the rule po...Get the sum of the odd place digits, 8 + 3 = 11. Since the only number is 0 on the even place digit, it means the difference of the alternating digits is 11. Therefore, 308 is divisible by 11..Or simply divide 308 by 11, to check..

Hello po..Just apply po all the rules to check if a number is divisible by another number. Example: 2 304 Possible factors by applying all the rules: 2-because the last digit is 4, that's even 3-because the sum of its digits is 2 + 3 + 0 + 4 = 9, and 9 is multiple of divisible by 3 4-because the last two digits formed 04, obviously it is a multiple or divisible by 4 6-because it is divisible bothby 2 and 3 8-because the last 3 digits formed 304 is divisible by 8 9-because the sum of its digits is 9, obviously divisible by 9. 12-because it is divisible both by 3 and 4

Yes po..Follow lang natin ang rule. A number is divisible by 4 if the last two digits is divisible by or multiples of 4. Just like 520, 20 are the last 2 digits and 20 is divisible by or multiple of 4. Also, 544, 44 are the last two digits and 44 us obviously a divisible by 4 or multiple of 4. While the rule for 8 is that you have to check the last 3 digits. Medyo mahirap kasi iddivide u nang mabilisan. Just like 520, divide by 8 is equal to 65. No remainder kaya divisible by 8..Also 544 divided by 8 is 68. That's why 520 and 544 is both divisible by 4 and 8..

A number is divisible by 12 if it is divisible both by 3 and 4. Ibig sabihin check niyo po muna kung ang number ay divisible by 3 (Follow the rule by adding all the digits and if the sum is divisible or multiple of 3, a number is divisible by 3)..Check also if the number is divisible by 4 (follow the rule by checking the last 2 digits formed a number divisible or multiple of 4)..Kung ok as 3 at 4, divisible din sa 12..
