Division 1 Superkarts | Croft Super Prix | Race 1 | September 2023 | Matt Robinson

Started P2 after a damp qualifying session where we got pipped on the last lap by a driver who risked it on slicks!
Made a good start and opened a comfortable gap. Managed to break the lap record by over 2 seconds, down to a 1:18.7. Backmarkers put a stop to any fast laps near the end of the race. Cruised to the finish line in P1 by over 10 seconds. Great circuit but very bumpy.
In Race 2 we broke the lap record again with a 1:18.6 but on lap 4 the big end failed on the engine, resulting in a DNF.
