on the first minute of the video alone - you are much more tolerable of a delay than many of the other youtubers ive seen cover this. i just get a bunch of people complaining that it got delayed saying its got something to do with AC:S when in reality, MSV are known for not delivering in recent years. thank you

For me, delays in gaming are part of the course. I would rather it be delayed and the Dev team enjoy making the game, and that game be good. Then have them "crunch", hate their jobs and the game suck. I just doubt that the DLC will be good.

Back when TU11 launched in late 2020 they were hinting at a division 2 DLC.... guys... it's been 4½ years. delay after delay after delay. Talks about When does "needs more polish" become incompetence? With ubisofts latest track record I know for dang sure where to bet my money. "But it's Massive, not ubisoft", yeah... no... it's not the same people, they replaced a majority of the devs FIVE years ago. Hearthland... canceled... Resurgence... outsourced... delayed... Hardcore mode still "in BETA".... Division 1 still lacks global events eventhough the devs PROMISED to "look into it and should be an easy fix".... a year ago.

So Ubisoft was started by the 5 french brothers and now they are in bed with Tencent as well further complicating things. One can only assume the perceived incompetence and bad results stem from a prolonged and very strange power struggle coming from the very top. The question is if Massive can ever come out from under this chaos without being sold or not. Something has to give.

What the hell? First of all, have you played SWOL? It’s a really good game. And do you seriously fall in the category of the people who are concerned with Kay’s looks? I really thought you weren’t, but I guess I was wrong. Player count … You of course know that Avatar and SWOL were only available through UBISoft Connect (for PC) at launch, so looking at Steam numbers is pointless, especially for SWOL, which is a pretty new game. And as far as sales numbers, they haven't been released, only a guess from Insider gaming, which also (not mentioned in the article) only referred to PS/XBOX numbers 30 days after release if I understood correctly. But calling SWOL “one of the worst games in modern gaming” is ludicrous. Again, it’s a really good game. But, about the DLC. I’m sure you know (even more than me) that it is made by Ubisoft Bucharest. The same studio that in reality has been the ones developing everything for TD2 since its soft development “reboot”. So why the hell are you criticizing Massvie? Yannick even said so in the latest stream when telling everybody to turn down expectations “It’s big for the team we have today (the DLC)”. And those people are not exactly involved in The Division 3, where Massive is lead studio, of course. You may not like Julian, and I’m not sure how important his return to the franchise is, but it’s not nothing. He was involved in both Division games, which (and on this I think we agree) basically are the “best” games ever made. Plus Division games are not hindered by other legacy issues, since it’s an original IP. So, yeah. I just disagree with a lot of what you’re saying in this. Sorry for the rant 🙂

Good video, but slight grievances with your thoughts Division 2s state. First when you compared it to the other games on steam, those are single-player and low replay-ability. Sadly the Division 2 is a dead game. There’s nothing wrong with saying that. Its main competitors Destiny 2 2017 and Warframe 2014 are both way more active while being older games. Could it be that they have better, more consistent, and filling content drops? Or perhaps they have crossplay-cross gen features that tie there communities together along with better anti cheats? Who knows, however Divsion 2 is a dead game with an incompetent dev team, one that you compared to the companies other failures, 2 single-player experiences, just saying it’s a bad comparison overall, other than them being tied to the same company.

@@DodRegnbue Not that much i thought it was rather balanced and well evidenced and if you compare presentation skills with what came from the devs today you are head and shoulders above their level keep it up im enjoying it . having a news element gives your channel are more holistic output for players not just great stat info and gaming tips . if you could do tie ins with other content creators bounce ideas about it helps generate enthusiasm for the game and your enthusiasm for it would come across better too . i think its more frustration from many of the existing players that know this is a great game if it wasnt why do we keep getting many new players give it a look in the last week my clan has gained another ten mostly low shd players . so i agree its far from dead on Xbox my platform at least . i think D2 has to be a case study on how to shoot yourself in the foot repeatedly and the gaming industry should learn from it im yet to post on your red gear pt 2 vid but some of the ideas there you propose have roots in the OG Division and with some of the new gear for PTS it seems like the devs are at least willing to raid the first game for things other than just names with the "combat medic talent "coming from a character talent choice from D1. i vaguely remember you saying you hadnt played it but i could be mistaken but i highly recommend it im sure you'd enjoy the incursions , legendary missions ,bumping into the hunters in the Underground and of course the best game mode in the franchise survival . maybe you could do a retrospective see what you would have brought across in to div2 or even 3 . Julian Gerighty has his own special place in Division history with his floppygate comments ! and i think someone with enthusiasm and a clear direction for the IP is needed . PS where is that international sex god and fluffy little manpeach Hutchler these days ?

Again, I feel vindicated. I got a lot of hate for posting on "Kult Leaders" that there wasn't going to be any DLC (if one considers that mess they were thinking of a proper DLC, we might as well call these things they keep putting in the shop every Tuesday a DLC). From their words, not mine, it was supposed to be a "Story Driven" something to hold players in until Division 3 (which will launch when I'm probably already dead). Now, haven't we had enough of Massive's "Story Telling" from the Scout Missions? Who's Pregnant, who's dating who, how to raise a baby (sorry, I just puked). Now, I never watched an episode of "Friends" but from what my female friends tell me, I'd rather get dropped in toxic waste. This is the "DLC" Massive was planning for us to swallow, probably along with more Massive "Rainbow Swaztikas" painted everywhere, and a couple of girls from Lesbos somehow impregnating each other... This is, for whoever even follows the pathetic Division 2 story, where we currently are. We don't need another "Massive Story" to drive even more players away. Why not stick to the original material and get proper balanced human writers to expand on it? Tom Clancy did leave hundreds, if not thousands of ideas written before he passed away. As for the "director" of Division 2 coming back to direct a hypothetical Division 3, I couldn't agree more. In the real world, he would probably be "accidentally" shot in the back while out on patrol in some mountain region of any Stan. Aside from the fact that he made an unnecessary second iteration of a game which was reaching perfection, after years of problems. The Underground (developed by the studio that was closed down this week) had the potential to expand the Franchise to every corner of The Americas and even the World. But no, let us launch a broken mess, that will never be fixed, instead, just to be plagued by "Biblical" hordes of bugs for 2/3 years. The only hope we still have is for Ten Cent or whoever to buy this Franchise and treat it as Tom Clancy deserves. I'm done with Massive and Ubisoft. PS: For those that don't like my "Woke Rant," I loved and played along with my two youngest daughters' "The Last of Us," and even voted for the first one as the game of the year because it is an original story somebody wanted to tell the world, not a butchering job done by "Wokies" on, of all things, material written by a Conservative. That is just criminal. Sorry for the "rant wall" but I can't understand how these guys still have jobs and how some "Kult Leaders" still insist on defending them. No wonder Massive is broke and the people that invested in their stocks have lost almost everything.

oh if you think the high-school drama from the scout missions are bad, man... the descent comms are even worse. around 20-30 there's this whole thing to "metoo" a professor, then it goes downhill from there, and sitting around 80-something out of 90-whatever now it's a testament of pure garbage and honestly I stopped listening to them after 70.

I do believe in Division 2 DLC. What i don't believe too much however, is Division 3. And i believe in Div 2 DLC only because i really believe they will try to expand upon it and release it as the "end of the life cycle" patch. Because lets be real for a minute, the game feels like its on maintenance mode for a while now.
