Also worth noting that if you make the gloves in your build the variable piece... when it comes to the time trial league events, you can temporarily swap out the Golan gloves for Firm Handshake (yellow core ideally) and change Capacitor to the Lady Death SMG. Firm handshake will give both 15% status effects and 10% SMG damage, and the Lady Death will give the added benefit of a running speed boost for zoomies when you get a kill with it. I'll usually try to finish off a red or low health enemy that's already on fire at the end of a room to get the benefit of the speed boost whilst running towards the next room/door.

My first build in this game was inspired by one of your videos. Curiously, is one of the few that you don't showcase it with yourself playing, instead was your clan leader: the Ongoing Directive with Vile. I absolutely loved playing it, and I'm glad I stumbled on your channel. Great content, no BS, straight to the point, actual math to support the reason behind your recomendations and no clickbaits. I haven't lost a video since that one, and have learned a lot, so thank you very much for your content. Maybe in the future we will see you playing Ongoing Directive?

I'll give Capacitor a try. I'm usually running build 1with Scorpio to deal with occasional cuddlers who get near(or spawned from an off angle) that the burns miss. It's nice when the Scorpio stuff spreads too.

I have the Holster as Golan as i have the Skill Tier, Damage and Effects on that so i just swopped the roll from Gloves to Holster instead

Love the jokes. BTW wicked is bad for sure but I do like that the spread happens on status proc not death. In some situations I really want that behaviour - like CC for example.

Hi Dod, love your vids a lot. But my Dot is without Capacitor stacks 337.533 only. I'm running the version with Golan. I thought my Status rolls are maxed but obviosly not. Can the lack of expertise Level explain that difference. Mine is only 13.

Are you using Chem or Sticky? Sticky has a higher burn and should typically be used to start the engagement, then follow up witht he chems if needed.

I have a unicorn golan backpack with creeping death. I have over a 15 second burn time on my sticky that resets the backpack talent. My reasoning is to keep them on status as much as possible to reset the creeping death. Stage left and nades are fun to combo this with as well.

If you are running fire, Creeping Death is a bad thing. 1) Enemies effected by a status cannot be effected byt the same status. Creeping with overwrite Eclipse and Eclipse will over right Creeping. Just pick on. 2) The 30% amp from Eclipse Backpack will literlly do 30% more damage than a Creeping Backpack, so not only are not get getting as much spread you are also doing less damage. 3) Considering the idea of Eclipse Fire is to do damage, and Eclipse has no issues proccing itself, no matter how you look at it, all you are doing is striaght tup nerfing yourself.

@@DodRegnbue creeping death hits first. Keeping enemies on status effects over the 15 second mark resets this. It recycles both gear set and backpack talents. I run this this with demolitions for the the bleed on the artillery and a fire sticky. Or if I'm running support it's foam and blind. I think where our theories differ is timing. Either way your videos are great and i enjoy testing out your builds. Keep up the good work!!

@@keithla5711 No, if an enemy is already effect by a status, eclipse cannot work. Nothing to do with timing. Enemies effected by fire cannot be effected by fire. They are already on fire. And if it is taking you 15 seconds to kill something with Eclipse, then something is seriously wrong. 3 seconds max.

Your method doesn’t work. In most cases enemies spawn far and the golden bullet timer runs out. The flamethrower is so clumsy that it doesn’t ignite enemies that stand half an inch outside of its radius.

I have done 3 videos in the last 24 hours showing it woking perfectly well. I am actively doing it right now. As are another 47 people int he clan I am in. If you are having difficulties, it is not the method, it is you.

Admittedly, those of us who are seasoned players know where all the spawn points are and therefore we will start the engagement at a predetermined location. Dod’s method is spot on👌
