Finally, a proper tutorial for this sequencer. I have the dual mini sequencer and couldn't find a good tutorial.

Thanks! Another thing that I have grown to do every time I turn on my dual sequencer is immediately reset them by holding the reset buttons. Mine glitches to only cover 3 octaves instead of 5 w/o the reset after startup.

Sequesize me captain!!!! But for real, what a sick module, this would fit so well in my current workflow/rack.

Meant to mention in my last comment this video was invaluable to me in truly learning the ins and out of these devices of which I own both.

I've been wanting to build a rack 303 for a while now. I've got a x0x heart, but my keystep just doesn't cut it. Thanks for selling me on the sequesizer.

So Rad. I love the design of this. So immediate and its about time someone made a dual sequencer so they can sequence each other.

Sequesize me, Cap'n! Thanks for the extensive walkthrough! I've been eyeing the sequencer for a good while, and the synth looks like a nice little auxillary voice. Very cool.

Great walkthrough! I found this video because I’ve been eyeing the dual sequencer module, but now I’m reconsidering getting the sequesizer instead. Love the chip tune quality of the synth!
@RobotsAreRed2 жыл бұрын
Yeah it does have a very good chip-tune sound to it. It's like an oscillator from Cre8Audio Chipz that actually tracks well! The only thing I wish it had was CV control over the filter.

@@RobotsAreRed The sample and hold/LFO section is really interesting. I’d be curious to see what mods could be done to maybe expand for a noise input on the s&h, and possibly adding resonance and cv over cutoff.
@RobotsAreRed2 жыл бұрын
@@Charleshowes23 Yeah I'd be curious to see that too. Lots of room on the board to add things since its mostly just the two chips.

On the negative voltage matter it needs to be noticed it only takes 0-5v ins by design and apart from pitch all in cv totally replaces the knob so only pitch has an offset from its knob. In the other cases the knob is now void so its not sadly operating as an attenuator instead of an offset which would have made life easier. SO if you send it a negative voltage to pitch which does not take it out of range such as a 1 v down shift with the knob in the middle that should work properly... if you stick say a bipolar lfo in the pitch input that should work properly if you have the knob in the middle and limit the range of the lfo to -2.5 to + 2.5 it should work okay other scenarios with knobs and lfo attenuation can be derived that should work okay, Of course that is only for pitch. There is no case to put negative voltage in the other cv ins...it wont produce something rad glitchy weird etc just stupid noises nobody wants as it can not cope with absolute negative .

Does the business card version of the sequencer have slur? Actually, is there any difference between the card versions of these, aside from patchability?

I don't believe the business card version has a slur :(

I was told to reset the sequencer I need to hold down C# and D# buttons while powering up. Which are the C# and D# buttons on the sequencer keyboard?

How good would it be for leads?
@RobotsAreRed Жыл бұрын
As a lead, the only thing I would add would be a filter to control with an envelope or something to give the sound more dynamic filtering. Since the filter on the unit doesn't have a CV input.
