Division - Functional Skills Maths Level 1 and Entry Level 3

After getting shocking GCSE grades many moons ago, I've decided to teach myself maths and start at entry level 3. I've just found your video and want to say how easy it was to understand; very clearly explained. Thankyou.

So if you divide the last whole number and are left with a remainder you go into decimals? Am I understanding this correctly?

Nice channel… but Why do English people write the smaller number in front of the bigger one, when we divide 489 by 6? It would make more sense to change the order.. 🤕 I understand we drive on the left hand side here but why do I have to drive my brain on the left here 😂😣
