Sir I am having a very big doubt, please help me sir. I am explaining my doubt... Please give a minute and kindly reply sir. Kindly read this patiently Suppose , i have a number 60 It's factor will be :- 2^2 × 5^1 × 3^1 Now, when I will find no. of even divisors, i will easily get it as 2(1+1)(1+1) and also I will easily get no. of odd divisors as 1(1+1)(1+1) Not problem anything with that... It is absolutely fine and I understood this completely. Here, my doubt comes. While finding the no. of odd divisors, when I will multiply 2^0 with 3^0 , i will get 1 And when I will multiply 2^0 with 5^0, again I am getting 1 So, why should I count this 1 twice ?? Should we do -1 in this case to exactly find the unique number of divisors. Also, in the case of even divisors.. when I will multiply 2^1 or 2^2 with 3^0 and 5^0.... I am getting the answer as 2 appearing two times and the answer 4 appearing 2 times. So, should I subtract 2 from the final answer. Because I am not supposed to repeat 2 or 4 as a divisor coming twice both.. Thanks a lot sir for sharing this priceless content with us ❤️

We are getting any divisor only once. As we are getting 1 as divisor by the process 2^0 x 3^0 x 5^0 = 1 We can not multiply only 2^0 x 3^0 or 3^0 x 5^0 but we have to multiply all 2^0 x 3^0 x 5^0 to get 1. Ok and 2 is got by 2^1 x 3^0 x 5^0 = 2 and 4 is got by 2^2 x 3^0 x 5^0 = 4 No divisor can be get twice.
