Having had many thousands of hours with this dobby tool, I can affirm the claim that this is The Ultimate Music Tool. It can write music on the style Wolfgang Delano Bach, BT, my friend Greg, and The Beetles. It also makes toast.

It was on Kickstarter (successfully funded and complete), wider stock will be available once it gets a normal release. RE 'similar' which bits are you wanting to cover? Nothing exact but if it's one key feature you might find something similar.
