As a person that have witness my mother's experience with Chemotherapy, it is a treatment that takes a toll on your body physically. It made her feel drained, sleepy & fatigue. I had to cook for my mom & help her with household duties because it drained her causing her to sleep so much! I can't believe this man...

You're right. A lot of times I wondered, how could some decent people end up with garbage. After a while I saw 3 patterns : 1. Superhero syndrome - need to feel needed, and be the one to "transform" the other person's life and character, this is an ego issue. 2. Deception - they got deceived and manipulated by that person, sold a lie long enough to be trapped. It happened to me once, but he showed his true colors earlier than most frauds, this is totally scary and destabilizing when you find out the person is a totally different person. 3. Settling/Desperation - they're attracted but know there's no compatibility, but desperately want to be with someone (generally "I'm pushing 30, I gotta get married now").

I am turning 17 in October and I was diagnosed with childhood cancer at 12 (early 2013, the year I was turning 13). I just now came up on my 2 years cancer free.. The chemo does horrible things and I am still dealing with affects 2 years later..

Folks don't spend quality time with one another and have conversations about themselves, their expectations and their values. They rush into "situationships," having sex very early on. And then stay together for convenience. So 5, 6, 10 years and several kids later and they are still incompatible and don't know much about each other and still carrying with their situationship out of habit, not love. It's pathetic, immature and a waste of time. This case is a perfect example of what I wrote. They are married, but this is nothing more than an advanced sitautionship. He doesn't care a thing about her and she knows it. Yet, they are still together and having children. smh

If you give someone enough time they will always show you their true character.
