This is EXACTLY why you don't write fanfic about real people. It's fine to do that for maybe characters they act or play as, but once you start treating the actual people like characters in the stories, you can get them in actual trouble. Like, why would you EVER role play an existing person??

I mean, in this case the were already getting divorced and this wasnt the reason why, but i do think its especially inappropriate when one of them IS in a relationship and people are constantly 'shipping' them with someone else like 'omg look at when they make eye contact or touched them at this point or said this' as it cant be nice for the partner to hear or read in the comments
