It took 5 years for my marriage to end. 5 long years. Why were the years so long? Something started to happen that I never saw coming. He was controlling, verbally abusive and then…physically abusive. I came home one day and he was messing with the cat. I tried to stop him and he grabbed me by the throat and threw me across the room. He then threw the cat against the wall and broke her leg. She went to live with my parents after that. I could've told my parents but I didn't. I don't know why. After that it continued. I was punched, clawed, was constantly being yelled at about how I was fat, stupid, I didn't have a real job (I was a teacher) and so on. He told me that if it were legal he'd kill me. That was it. I kept saying that I wanted to get a divorce. He said he'd take our son if I did. But one day he said “fine, if you want a divorce then get a divorce.” I did, he tried to get back with me but I showed him the door after one night together. That's the reason I got a divorce. Thankfully it “only” lasted 5 years. No spouse should EVER have to go through that!! Additionally, If you're considering hiring a private investigator for proof of infidelity in a divorce case, Barry Investigations could be the right choice. By contacting them at Barryinvestigation@gmail. com, you can work with experienced professionals to uncover the truth. Make sure to discuss your legal rights and responsibilities, establish clear boundaries, and follow the investigator's guidelines to ensure a successful and discreet investigation.

I would love for Tabitha to talk about going through Kenneth bringing up divorce and how she moved past it. My husband and I have only been married two years and things are ok now but the first year was very rough and my husband said on a few occasions that he wanted a divorce. It has definitely effected how I trust him if at all. His actions have changed for the better but we’ve never had a conversation about things that have been said. It’s very difficult to bring up past events without him getting defensive though.

You guys are so on point... Being equally yoked is key! In my case I came to the Lord first, but the word says “the unbelieving husband has been sanctified through his wife…” after a few years and a lot of praying and believing - we are now equally yoked! Praise God🙌🏼

I’ve been married for 11 years. And recently after having my son I’ve realized my husband had 11 years to work on his self and change. I tried helping him charge but that then i realize that is not my job & i can’t do that. God has the ability to do so but at the end of the day it’s My husband and God. I’ve told him we need professional help

I think I've got for my marriage. I think I have a mild wife. I think I have my life health and my strength. God, take the wheel. Deliver my marriage from what it needs to be delivered from. Deliver me from where it needs to be delivered from. I thank you, and I'll do you. You ought to send to all my joy.

I knew my husband was more immature than me when we were dating and I had misgivings. - not the best with money, cleaning up after himself, staying on top of adult responsibilities, business. All these things have been the biggest conflicts in our marriage so far. Should I have not have gotten married? I know we were meant to be but we can't get pregnant and I wonder if God's not allowing us to get pregnant because there are things that need to be fixed. Maybe there wouldn't have been so much heartache if we had waited to marry..... But we aren't that young and felt behind the 8 ball

I married someone who is not as mature and responsible as me. What now? Tell it to me straight-- do I need to just suffer now?. Pray. Trust God that even if my husband messes up everything God will still work it out.

What if it's too late? What if they both fell into fornication, she got pregnant, then sought marriage counseling then got married, two years in a row within the 6 and 7th yr there has been infidelity. The spouse says they are going to change or get convicted about it but doesn't make moves to change?

He's only here for the kids, I'm still trying to follow my covenant with god but at what point do end it all and I file for the divorce ?

I can't stand when people say well everyone I know who's married is miserable. I'm like well that sucks for you because that is not the standard especially among Christians. I've heard the people that say this are not very good Christians or not Christians at all. The thing is is that Holy marriage does not work for atheist because it is created by God for God

OMG I know a couple who go to two different churches because the husband had a quarrel with the pastor at one 🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼 so unbiblical! The biblical thing would be to reconcile with the pastor which is God's ultimate will or your whole family go to a different Church.
