Can I share my thoughts with you? I keep my fingers crossed for mixed pairs. For people who, apart from accepting love, have the courage to take responsibility for the life and fate of their loved one. I recommend reading the book "Happy Wives Club" which tells the story of people who chose each other (not their families, ambitions or comfort), giving each other love, respect, care and trust. I wish this to all singles who will fall in love with a foreigner. That the love they will feel will make them better people.

You are right about the vietnamese girl. We are very straight up and speak whatever is on our mind. We don't do the read the atmosphere. So sometimes i offended people in the past because i am so straight up. But now i learned that now in life , you have to say "white lie" because the truth will hurt people, as i lived abroad and not live in Vietnam anymore.

The countries with the highest divorce rate with Japanese are Vietnam, Myanmar, and Taiwan. I don’t know why you said Cambodia and Thailand for the last two.

Yup, as a Korean I can see the SK-Japanese couples working out well. I'd also guess that the % might be better for SK male to Japanese female relationships rather than vice versa. P. S. There are quite a number of SK male-JPN female couple channels on KZbin as well.

the last three flags were vietnam, myanmar, and taiwan at 40%. not cambodia and thailand. i appreciate this video tho, i can't read these types of articles since its in japanese. is this specifically for japanese men and foreign women or is it just international couples in general? i was told american men with japanese women have a lower divorce rate than a japanese couple, is it the same for american women?

I don't trust statistics anyway 😶 The scattering must always be known so that the numbers of a statistic are reasonably comprehensible. Are Japanese women more likely to have foreign spouses or Japanese men? Then one would also have to look closely at the sexes.
@blume0121
@blume0121 3 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much for this nice video! I think the statistic is not concrete enough. The gender makes a difference. My impression is that in case of western countries (USA, England, Germany etc.) its often japanese wife with foreign husband, and not so many other way around. I guess the divorce rate is different according to the combination

Great point Blume. Acutually there are stats about Japanese male and foreign female couple and Japanese female and foreign male couple separately. and I found that Japanese male tend to get marry w asian women more than european women. This time I didnt go deeper since its kinda complicated and also sensitive topic🤔

Hi Santi san, can you do a video about religion perspective? What’s Japanese opinion on muslim and christianity for example. Is it really a big boundaries/hurdles if a Japanese to marry a muslim? I know it’s a sensitive topic but i want to know from your point of view and observation. And probably advise on it as well? Hope you can discuss on this in one of your video. Thank you.

I will give an answer: Religion is but a tool. The tool if it is not useful is to be disgarded. If it is useful it is then a guide for living life positively. If marrying Japanese, then the individuals should be clear how their arrangements and expectations should be for marriage and family and children. Then it is a question of good circumstances, family network support and individual skill to ensure it is successful at developing young happy healthy children developing into competent well-rounded and balanced adults assisted by BOTH parents via love and other values and virtues. The religion is not necessary to the above, though various components of it may AID the above. In general then for Japanese, no dogma is needed, no stipulations are needed, a practical approach is best and good communication and love are needed! Everything else is purely superficial. If one does not feel that for their tradition then they are not marrying in a way that is practical for their own personality - that is all. One final observations: Some cultures are "strong" at introducing social capital to help with this complex endeavour: Islam is strong but a different culture Japanese is strong too. Other cultures have deteriated eg Western Liberal culture and the statistics demonstrate this with negative outcomes in marriage, family and child development.
