I was in the wrong relationship too 19 years ago. I left with tears, broken but picked up my pieces. Today I am happily married to my charming prince who respects me and my children. If you believe in yourself, no one should make you feel worthless.

I cried listening to you!! Two weeks ago my son got married and believe me...children deserve two parents no matter what. My ex-threw us out when my oldest son was 6 and his brother was 9 months. Now 25 and 20. One married and the second one is a senior in college. And keep soldiering on girl...my kids write me moving notes and cards all the time when they think of the sacrifices. I live here (US) so I know how tough it is to pay for college as an international student... the struggle is real.

When you see someone with the intention of starting a relationship you block them at the instant. I totally relate to this and I actually thought it's only me. When someone tells you you are beautiful these are words not integrated in our system as we never heard them from our parents. Hope to see her smile when I graduate also Thank God for such forums am now healing

Adults are the meanest and amongst those adults was my aunt . When our father walked away my mother had to deal with a lot of snide remarks. However she is a prayerful and feisty. She worked hard and made sacrifices for us. That however did not stop those adults from being mean to us. They would not want their kids to mingle with us. We were told we would amount to nothing but drop outs. It was obvious we got treated differently. Despite all that we powered through. It just took me longer to forgive. I always remind people to be mindful of the things they say around children. Kudos to all the strong women.

Hey Ida, thanks for taking the time to watch. Children are affected indeed. Enduring the pain in marriage is not the solution, because emotions of the pain will always transfer to the children. Esther Osiel they do it and only reasons best known to them. My father walked away and only resurfaced 20 years later because he wanted money. Arrogant enough to not even explain why he did what he did. I was angry for a long time I did not attend his funeral after all he was just like a stranger.
