The interesting thing i have realised with powerful women like Caroline Mutoko, Sheryl Sandberg, etc and among my own friends is....they all had supportive parents who loved them. Let's all be better parents to our children, they'll grow up to be stong and confident.

Always, all the time, a parents support completes the confidence that a child needs to go after their dream. Cheers to all PowerParents out there🥂 However, for those who weren't/aren't lucky to have such parents, you can still do it 💯your cheerleaders will definitely come along.

Caroline is just on another level she once made a speech in my school I was in form one St George's and the most I can remember about that speech was don't be okay with okay that was 2010 years down the lane I can't stand mediocre behaviour I refuse to be okay with okay she changed my mentality and today I am glad she gave that speech

In as much as i appreciate this speech by Ms. Mutoko. I would like to focus her energy and efforts back home -KENYA. Changes in America will never have an effect especially on Kenyan women as she purports. I ALWAYS SAY THIS- AFRICAN ISSUES HAVE AFRICAN SOLUTIONS. Period! So rather than blow someone's trumpet miles away, someone who wouldn't give two F***s about Kenyan or Kenyan women, why dont we start witv our own. Why don't we uplift, fight for, stand with, build and encourage our own. Heck Why don't you run for office Caroline Mutoko. Even if it's an MCA, Senator, Governor position? Why don't you come out Openly and endorse a KENYAN FEMALE CANDIDATE? WHY???? I keep saying, as long us we continue to remain in our comfort zones, nothing will ever change. Run for Nairobj governor. Unseat that clown! He once insulted you as a woman! I will fully support your candidacy. You will win. Kenya is tired of Bu**s*** politicians and politics. For heaven's sake and for the sake of every African woman, lets start endorsing women at home first!

Great to see Ted talk in Kenya. As much as we want to empower the women in the conservative communities of maa and the rest, men surely need to be engaged, and participate in the dialogue. This way they will pave the way for their girls to get education, and see the importance of them pursuing a career which they will later bring the change in their community.

Just the mention of those two names makes me work harder and smarter. I have these pictures in my room of people who inspire me and she is one of them. There was a time women were invited to Beijing for a world women's conference (I guess in 1995) many of them became politicians, activists you can google more about it, it was a turning point for gender equality issues and it was effective, they were called Beijing Women. My aunt was among them (that's how I know) she was a councillor(MCA) for a long time

America is the standard that affects the rest of the world is because of its relationship with God/Jesus and not by our own efforts. That's what set America apart. We need capable leadership in government. Male or female--the ability to govern is of the highest quality of a leader. Ms. Clinton did not have the necessary ability to lead America. She has the background, but I stated the attribute: 'ability'.
