Stay and work at it or you will find another relationship with the same problems. Work on yourself. Make the changes that will make the difference like these guys did. We were there … nearly divorced and had to accept our parts in the dysfunction. Vow to change what you need to change. Dont try to change your spouse. But do be honest. We are so thankful that now we can live in an rv with each other and work together and learned to love again!!!

Guys, if she is going to go , shes going to go. Why are you trying to keep her there ? Did you lose your value during marriage ? Thank you for sharing your story. What a roller coaster! My wife and I will be married 47 years in September. We live by one main rule (in fact it will be on our grave marker) LOVE IS A DECISION. It isn't a feeling or an action, it's a decision. You made a decision to love rather than leave. THAT will be your number one best move every day - decide to love each other first. You are amazing! God bless you

Wow! Roger this a powerful concept. Because if love is a feeling, then you can stop when it gets tough. If it's an action, then it's based on deeds. But it's based on actions, words, thoughts, and everything, so ultimately a decision makes sense! Thank you so much!

This is literally our story!!!! We were on the border of divorce constantly fighting all because of a house we were trying to fix up. It was driving us both insane and then this Pandemic happened and I lost it I'm a germaphobe and my husband couldn't handle my constant news and updates! I was John! I used to live in an RV when we met and he suggested we buy an RV and get back on the road because it made me so happy. We have 2 dogs and no kids at home (we both work from home) so we are in the process of buying a 5th wheel and park it nearby while we downsize and move into it. Screw this house and all the problems it has caused, I married my best friend and we want to be happy and you guys are so amazing!

You two are special, and very fortunate. My husband and I worked, separated, for three years to get somewhere near partners in parenting (after being together for 26 years), almost got there - and he had a heart attack and passed. Our daughter was just turning thirteen and we were both devastated. Time has been healing us, we have learned to live without him, but we all learned so much. I don’t say this for sympathy, but that it is heartwarming that you two realized in time you needed to be together. Make your life the best! You are blessed. Thank you for sharing.

Overworked (+80hrs a week) and something wrong with my back. Ta Da! I looked at my wife over a month ago and told her, "Let's do your dream, sell everything, and get a 5th Wheel Toy Hauler ( which will become our digital studio). I taught 3D, VFX, etc. Now, we will be able to GO to the work instead of me being stuck at one location. The stress of everything was leading down the same path as you guys. I’m just realizing I’m signed under my daughter’s KZbin account so disregard that, but I just wanted you to know how much this video spoke to me. My husband and I have had this dream of rving for about 2 years and finally things with his job and our house have aligned in a way that has allowed us to live our dream. My husband was so over stressed at work. So he quit his job we are selling our house and belongings to live this dream. This particular video spoke to me so much because my husband and I have been separated for a year. And with things aligning the way they have at my husbands job and with our house my husband asked me if we could try one more thing to save our marriage and that is finally living our dream and coming with him rving. I have been very nervous thinking it could possibly drive us further apart, which I know is a real possibility, but hearing how it United y’all gives me hope. Thank you so much! But you do BOTH have to want it to work and make the effort. Screw 'compromise' ... I compromised for 13 yrs. While he apparantly....I allowed him to 'run my show' I retreated to the separate bedroom to: 1) keep my sanity, 2) have 'me' time, 3) have a certain amout of time per day to recharge and get strong. Which is why I'm on a 'I married a narcissicist' Group now to heal, grow, Get past the PTSD and Move forward. So I'm really considering the RV life for my future. I don't watch any other channel about RVing. Taking my family and doing this full time has become our goal which we hope to obtain in the next year or two. When I see saved marriages, it warms my heart because I nearly obliterated ours all on my own. But Mercedes said something so important. She started working on her self. And it appears through his actions he started working on himself. My wife and I have been facilitators with marriage ministry for 4 years and this mindset is so vital. When you both start working on your own personal relationship with the lord, God will grow your marriage individually and you come out so much stronger in the end. Team is the operative word. It's never perfectly executed but if it's the goal and you take divorce completely off the table, then you will always be blessed. If you ever come back through Colorado Springs, I would love to meet you guys. Continue to have faith and courage. God bless you guys.

And then hearing it out loud is scary. We ask, "should we share this with everyone?" Well the answer is yes- people are real too and they get it! Thank you B.A.

My husband and I just celebrated 24 years. He was a trucker over 25 years when his National Guard unit deployed to Iraq. Long story short he is a disabled Vet. He has a bad case if PTSD. For several years he denied he had a problem. While dealing with his PTSD my 2nd oldest son died in the line of duty. I checked out for quite a long time. Thankfully some of our Christian friends nagged us back to church. It was a life changer. He finally got help and I finally began to deal with my grief and got past the anger. For the last 2 years we have searched and researched TTs. We finally agreed on one and purchased it. Our 5th and final son left for college this past August. I am ready to see my country. I would love to go full time but he is having separation issues. He wants to keep a permanent nest. Maybe once we get more miles under our belts he will change his mind. Love your channel.

Entertaining video. Two thoughts: One, no one ever died from a poopie diaper. Two, when you fought you went to separate rooms. Not much physical separation in a camper compared to a house. I told my wife one time when she brought up buying a camper- If we can't get along in this house, how are we gonna get along in a fraction of the space, lol.

Wow,,,, thank you for your truth and honesty. Craig and I watched together this morning, and we both are soo very parallel to you guys. Having Massive “material” possessions takes sooo much out of a person. Reduction of those things is difficult, as my husband. I’m the “purger” and he’s the “holder”. Our experience so far in getting a (1 of 2) home on the market, reducing our possessions, planning ahead, has brought some anxiety, argument, cooling off, and finally the reality of learning what is IMPORTANT,,, US! Our love and respect of each other’s opinion, value, communication, patience is our 🔑. Blessings sent your way. Thanks again and again.

We are almost there our house of 29 years goes up for sale in April and we are filling a 40 foot shiping container with what we want to save and moving into our motor home wiht hte necessities for a year and see what comes next. I have a nephew who is in his 40's and gone through a divorce. Without examining what went wrong (alcohol) he posts all the "fun stuff" in life that he does on Facebook. Life is always "perfect" in his world. The postings of the new girlfriend, the new boat, the picture of the boat and his feet as the sun drops behind his beer glass. All wonderful.... In his world. His father, my brother is the same way. "Perfect" in every way. Yet, all I have ever asked from them is honesty. Not much of that seems to be around. I am not perfect, and I am flawed in many ways. I try to live a full life. I have worked my tail off to get here. Life can be and has been a struggle for me. God let me return from Vietnam where I was a Marine ground pounder toting around a machine gun. I bought a little I-Go Cloud Series travel trailer last summer. It is perfect for my needs. I was able to take it to northern Maine several times last year along with my little cat Blue. In the fall we pack up and fly down to south Florida for the winter. Where the sea water is warm!

Hi John, Hi Mercedes, Hi Sage, I had tears in my eyes viewing this video. Wow! I've been binge watching your videos for the last three days and I feel as if I've known you guys for a good while. Your videos are excellent and very informative on topics I never would have thought of. I enjoy the rapport you two display, your honesty and just your overall presentation. May I also say that your daughter Sage is a beautiful child and reminds me of my own daughter at that same age. With all that aside, My name is Brad. I am a 63 year old retired, born and bred Jersey boy who transplanted to Florida 5+ years ago. My ex and my grown children moved on from me 11+ years ago due to my illness. I've basically been sittin on my butt since, not really living too much. As of late I have been thinking of selling my possessions (a few collections and my car) and purchasing a Class "B" or "C" RV. Perhaps I'm an oddball, but the only thing holding me back is that I haven't a woman, nor a family anymore to share in the experience of seeing our beautiful country. My ex and I had taken the kids on many trips when we owned a Jayco pop up back in the day. I don't know why, but now I just can't seem to enjoy traveling without being able to share the experience with a woman travel companion. I do apologize for this long winded comment, however the two fold question I'm trying to ask is; am I the oddball that I feel I am, and are there RVing groups that address people like me? Please know that I'm not posting this comment looking for a date, a relationship or a "good time" per se, but a nice time. I feel a bit foolish and debated on even asking this question, however if I don't ask, I will never know. I feel when you guys have the time you will give me an answer that's on the up and up. In closing, it is refreshing to know that you have the Lord in your life and believe in the power of prayer. I pray that God blesses you all, on and off the road. Sincerely yours Brad Williams

God bless you both. Our Father in heaven is about relationships. A marriage is a union that requires more than just love. It's a partnership like no other. It encompasses many different variables such as friendship, communication, commitment, sacrifice, compassion, compromise, and teamwork among other things. It is certainly not a simple relationship but it is most certainly a worthwhile relationship. RVing will certainly help a relationship if you let it. I know it helped me and my late husband. Had I had to do it all over again, I would do it in a heartbeat. I hated the difficult times but loved the fun times and good days. And yes my husband and I did the very same thing in 2006 and traveled until 2009 due to his illnesses. Enjoy this journey while you are on it. Learn much and love always. This life is but a vapor. Mary, thank you so much for the beautiful comment. Marriage is all of those things. The hard times plain stink but they are worth it. It's not easy. But the ups of marriage and creating a family is indescribably wonderful. Unfortunately, Life is too short. So sorry to hear about your husband. We have a chunk of the RV Odd Squad that is composed of widows whose comments mean so much to me. So much truth and wisdom! Thank you again and God bless you and yours.

I've been binge watching your guy's channel over the last couple of days. I absolutely love the level of honesty you guys put out there for the rest of us to get the FULL picture of what RV life is like and a glimpse as to who you are as people. I don't feel there are many RV channels that portray this level of candidness, regardless of the personal discomfort and possible censure from commenters. Thank you both! I wish I could take my family on a similar adventure, however we are small business owners ourselves, and firmly cemented in our area. My husband does not share my vision of wonderlust while he is building his empire, and I must acquiesce myself to the occasional family trip in our RV around our very demanding work life. I really appreciate how you guys include content for those that cannot full time RV!! Most of the travel channels I follow gear their entire channel around full timing, and that leaves a lot of questions for people like myself that want the adventure, but cannot make that level of commitment currently. Thank you for filling in some of the blanks!! I'd love to see some vlog style content from you guys if you are up for that in 2020. Some candid videos on how you do National Parks with a big rig would be helpful too, as we have a really big rig for weekend warriors (37 ft TH that's 13'4" tall 😳) and don't go to nearly as many new places as we'd like, partially out of fear we won't fit do to lack of info available online. Keep up the wonderful work! Look forward to seeing what the future holds for your beautiful family!!

Thank you Valerie! You know you are absolutely right. We need to get out more! :-) . We appreciate you saying that we share to both full and part time RVers. We don't want to be exclusive. lol . We're open minded to more story telling. We just want to make sure that we're delivering value. But more adventure vids are needed! Thank you for the ideas. We love feedback & ideas!

Hi, You brought back many wonderful memories. We bought our first bus and immediately headed to San Marcos, Texas for a "Life on Wheels" conference. It was a 3 day event about what you need to know to live full time in an RV. The first class was taught by Joe and Vicki Kieva. They began with much of what you said, teamwork. They called them pink jobs and blue jobs. As it sounded very stereotyped, someone asked for a definition and their response was, "It's whatever the two of you want them to be." They were so right. What we also found interesting was what happened in our travels. We went around the country and were visited by many family and friends. They all wanted to see the new bus. They would walk through and admire the bus. At the end they would look at their spouse and say one of two things.... "We envy you, and wish we had the time and money to do this." or "No way in hell, we would kill each other!" There was no one in between, it was always one of the two. As an aside, my ex wife is still a good friend. My current wife took her through the bus and she loved it. When she was done, she turned to my wife and said, "Better you than me." We all laughed because she was speaking the truth. She would not have enjoyed the confinement. Great message and a wonderful story. I'm now in my 80's and look back at our time in our RV, and the time we full timed it as one of the best parts of our life. Best Regards, Dennis Miller Anthem, AZ ... just south of Sedona which you mentioned.

Going through challenges helps make you stronger. There are many people out there who give up and throw in the towel. I'm happy that y'all have grown stronger and didn't let these challenges destroy your relationship.
