We geeky fella's do the most innocent things like wanting to go to comic events or play video games from time to time. If that's not your cup of tea, then don't get with someone who likes those things. I'll never understand why someone who doesn't like stuff like anime, video games, trading cards gets with someone who does and then gets mad. In the end she felt like she did nothing wrong and was justified because she doesn't respect his hobby (and because it's generally socially acceptable to disrespect someone who exhibits interest in those hobbies). Best part of it all, he tried to introduce her to something that brings him joy. Nothing better than seeing your partner doing something they love.

Hell I have no clue about the card games, but when my 3 where small I would make an effort. Now my daughter has a collection of cards, and I have them in my house for her. I would most definitely try and learn more about them if she wanted me too, and would love to go to a convention with her. My hubby is into fixing up vehicles, which I hate. But you bet your ass I’m out there with him on occasion, or discussing what he wants to do with it. You don’t need to be into it, to discuss the subject with them. That lady needs to go to jail

Man when I was growing up I neglected my card collection because I was trying to date and my mom threw them away....I had rookie cards then that are worth thousands of dollars today (dr.j, OJ, Jordan, Junior Griffey, etc) now I have a record collection that I would hurt someone over if they tried to sell them without my permission

My late husband, had an event that happen I think like 2 times a year, every 6 months I think maybe more trying to remember, that he enjoyed watching relate to gaming events.
