At 23 years old I was partying from Thursday through Sunday, wearing high heels shoes for 8 hours shift, quiting jobs when I didn't like my manager, had no skin care routine, didn't care about dieting, I am not convinced that 23 should be an age to settle down, I mean obviously they don't know how to because they don't have enough experience. take a breather for real ladies, be friends if possible but not a committed relationship. nah uh

If you ladies are reading these comments, I just want to say that you both seem like genuinely beautiful people, both inside and out. Judge Star was right to suggest independent counseling. As humans, we can't build a foundation for anything, if the materials we are using are damaged. As a 43 year old woman, I can truly attest to the fact that past trauma can cause emotional instability. And until you deal with that trauma, it will always manifest itself in the worst ways. Take your time ladies. Learn you before you bring someone else into your world. I wish you both all the best!

I used to work with battered women. Ms. Wright-Whitney is showing what we called then "pre-battering" behavior, the need to control. Without intervention, it leads to abuse. That's what I see here.

Well, counselling is certainly going to help both of them. I appreciate Judge Star giving room to Ms Smith to talk. I also wish she could have talked a bit more with Ms Wright-Whitney. One thing I don't understand though is why they're rushing to get engaged and married. These young women are barely into their 20s!!! Live life a little before settling down, so you don't end up in this type of relationship. I hope they're both doing better now.

Imho, I think they should be apart couplewise while they do their independent counseling. If GF1 can't even go someplace without being tracked and stalked and suspected of wrongdoing, how will she feel safe voicing her OWN individual, maybe different thoughts from GF2 if she's still tied to her while counseling. "What did you tell the counselor about me? That's not true. That's not how I am."

I am still traumatized 🤦 but I just think at that age they are too immature to navigate life and a relationship. Those girls are living in a room where they don't even feel safe. If I was the girl's Mom, that would be my main concern.

And theres the truth.... "sometimes I don't know how to be happy". These are two very young ladies...and they still don't know how to love themselves properly therefore I believe therapy and learning how to properly communicate and LISTEN to what the other is saying is so important. I personally live in the statement... "What I hear you saying" ...then repeat exactly what they said and I make sure I have it correct. It gives your friend, family, partner the reassurance they need to feel heard and understood.

I couldn't have said it better. The plaintiff is getting worn out and is definitely getting bullied. Unfortunately I can see it going bullying to emotional abuse to physical abuse. They are both hurt and in need of therapy.... and not right for each other. The plaintiff's soft personality will always be a magnet to the defendant to run over her. They both seem nice though... but not right for each other.
