Hello sir i have a small doubt.. What if, if we have to subtract 1 from 0 in binary subtraction in the last column, i know to borrow from the left column, but when the left column is not there then what is the answer and also please explain what happens when borrowing was not possible...

Subtraction is nothing but Addition, A-B=A+2's Complement of B=A+B'+1, this situation not occured, Another case is in binary system 0-0=0,1-0=1,1-1=0,0-1= 1 with Borrow 1 2-4=0010-0100=0010+(2's complement of 0100),at that time result is negative, the result is in 2's complement
