That’s so crazy I was just thinking about. How effing ridiculous the dixell robustibility is or lack of. I can’t tell you how many dixell stats had to be replaced because of water….. how rediculous is that???? A refrigeration stat that susceptible to damage because of water…. Unreal dixell needs to get there stuff together….
@marvingarcia89825 жыл бұрын
My man using True refrigeration compressor relay to help the dixell. I like the set up, am not sure if I would do it. That relay contacts sticks all the time. But the idea is undertood.
@OcRefrig5 жыл бұрын
i use contactors all day long. especially on freezers. that way i can inspect the contacts and replace.

@@OcRefrig or you can add a "soft starter" and never replace the contactor or the motor... 7x in-rush be gone 👍🏻

Why not using Danfoss ? Like a EKC202D, perfekt for all rooms, freezer or cold rooms. Great control of defrost and fans. Even with battery module, you can control for special defrost time. And nightmode.

either sticking contact or the temp sensors are getting spotty and telling it to keep running warm box? unless you/they seen the control reading 25F also

Again, lets replace an electronic with a pressure switch, the only reason the electronic was dead is that the unit on the rooftop was designed for indoor use only.
@glasser28195 жыл бұрын
your external relay solution is the best to fix junko controls. Those external relays specs are perfect for handling in-rush surge currents.
@NorCal-refrigeration5 жыл бұрын
They use them on true units.

@@NorCal-refrigeration have you experimented "soft starting" motors: compressors, fans, pumps like on your private equipment. It saves the contactors and the bearings from destructive start surge currents and shaft translation (ATS01N125FT: "made in Germany" engineering for cheap. Both 1 and/or 3 phase motors) 👍🏻

That was a 2013 dixell. Lasted 6 years without a Relay taking the Load. i just replaced a dixell the other day. 2008 controller But , it Was using a Contactor to take the Load. 6 years Life No Relay or use a Relay and get 11 years Life out of controller. Goes to show you , You can double the Life of the Controller almost using a Relay. Good vid.
