The Dixie Dregs and Steve Morse Band have been the most mind blowin, funky do jam concerts I've seen. Love them boys!

The 'cruise' in this would not be possible without that fantastic bassline from Andy West.

I agree, but Jerry Peek put the " CRUISE " in " CRUISE MISSILE "... SMB... "The Introduction "...

Had the pleasure of seeing them twice on this tour. It was nothing short of magical.

This song was always a staple in their live shows. Saw them 3 times in the late 70s/early 80s era and it always showcased each band members individual skills. They never did it the same way twice and the song could last for as long as they wanted to be creative. Everyone knew who Steve was (and rightly so), but T. Lavitz blew me away on keyboards the first time I saw him play. It showed how much they all loved to play live.

Tightest interplay of bass, guitar, keyboard, and fiddle ever. Guitar and fiddle turning into one instrument.

Obviously, you missed the Reunion Tour of the original members in 2018... I caught two shows in NYC and the NYC suburbs...Where were you ???

@@SADWINGSNYC caught that reunion tour in Boulder. I live in Houston, but when they announced the tour, Houston dates were not yet included. Drove with a buddy all the way from Htown to Boulder. Stayed with a buddy near Boulder. Then saw them in Houston. Was so great to see the original lineup. I've seen Steve Morse Band numerous times, but hadn't seen The Dregs since the early 80s. All fabulous shows. Great to see them twice on the anniversary tour. Thanks for posting.

I saw Steve Morse open for the Missing Persons in the early '80s....strange combination of music. Good show though.

Back in the early 80s I saw a show with Steve Morse band, with Eric Johnson band opening. I actually detest contests and comparisons of artists, but we all knew this was gonna be a showdown, and wondered who would come out as top dog. Both acts were amazing and smokin' hot! But after the dust cleared, I gave the night to Eric for slightly tastier notes, but it was a close call. Morse as fantastic too! Back when musicians were musicians and and provided mind-blowing experiences! BTW, if the show had been the Dregs - they would have been clearly triumphant, IMO!
