This song was sung today at the funeral for my husband's uncle. It was just so beautiful and the part that almost dropped me to my knees was the second verse about the crippled man. My oldest daughter is severally disabled. She has never walked or talked. But, this song helped to remind me that one day she will sing and dance in Hallelujah Square.

I met the guy on the piano when i was a teen. I'd listened to his Dixie Echoes tapes my whole life and I'd really admired him. But he was a complete jerk to me, totally dismissive, like it was a waste of his time to even shake my hand.
