It didn't exactly happen that way. But of course you see everything like a Hollywood movie. That's why when you see these flags and white men not being ashamed of their heritage you think that's racist. My father in law is one of them and unlike you they actually know their history and are trying to preserve it. I'm Mexican and my fiance (his son) had a black girlfriend. They have been nothing but welcoming and nice to both of us. There are also black ppl in the group where I'm from. The bikers do charity runs and help out a lot of ppl of all races for things like school supplies and raise money for the sick. I also don't agree with teaching overly simplified history, tearing down historical statues and I don't blame them for being proud of their southern heritage.
