I was always taught you are not supposed to use sealer over wax????

Great question! With Dixie Belle Paint you can layer top coat over wax because both products are water-based. It is the easy peasy paint!

Why did you sand the piece when they say sanding is not needed with Dixie Belle Paints?

Hi there! Sanding is not required with Dixie Belle Paint, however, you can sand your piece if that's the look you desire.

I sanded this because I almost always do a bit of sanding for my prep work, it just ensures that no matter what paint or treatment I'm using it will be sure to STICK!! Just something I do ;)
