Thank You For Watching! Another Request! Dixieland has been a personal favorite of mine to play, but as songs go, it's *kinda* fast. I hope that any flubbs in the song are not deal breakers for y'all! Unfortunately, KZbin has significantly changed their advertising guidelines and so while the channel may be monetized, many videos now cannot be (basically anything in the War or Songs of the Second Civil War playlists). Because of this, I'm not even more reliant on my Patreon supporters who I am excited to mention have grown in number! I'm very grateful for everyone supporting the channel and especially those folks! If you want to support me as well please check out Patreon: www.patreon.com/AlderonTyran Thank you again! -Alderon Tyran

I mean hell the old Confederate values were better than the Yankees values because they still had slave labor 7 years after the Confederacy was no more and they committed genocide and still are technically committing genocide and they raped women and children and destroyed absolutely everything in their path whether it had to do with slavery or not for all they cared it was an orphanage that they were burning down not only that but black people fought for the Confederacy how long was Hispanics Asians and Native Americans if we were so racist why the hell did they fight with us

The original dixieland had absolutely nothing to do with slavery or even the confederacy. Learn history before making a absurd statement
@Wesley-177610 ай бұрын
@@donttreadonme4355 ... Uh... Dude... That wasnt what I meant at all. I know about the songs history, Union Dixie exists because Union Soldiers found out Lincoln liked the song before the Confederacy tainted it. And that's the way I meant this. Dixieland has become a dirty song because of its ties to the Confederacy, valid or not.

The lyrics, but in my taste (I just changed a few of the words): Oh, I‘m going back home to the land of cotton, Because old times can't be forgotten, So look away, look away, look away in Dixie's Land. In Dixie's Land, where I was born in, And so its people I'll surely mourn So look away, look away, look away Dixie's Land. [Chorus] I’m glad I'm back in Dixie, Hooray! Hooray! In Dixie's Land I'll take my stand I'll live and die in Dixie. Away, away, Oh way down south in Dixie. Away, away, Oh way down south in Dixie We once again have left the Union Because we rejected the D.C. Communion So look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land We weren’t the first 'nor were we lonely, The Plains, and Texas, we aren't the only, So look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land [Chorus] Oh, the East and the West Coasts, they are angry But they don’t got guns 'nor food a plenty So look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land We Left those Yankees all in L.A. And pushed the rest to north of Missouri So look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land [Chorus] Though the Union we may’ve left again Sure enough we have new friends Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land All along the Mississippi, Are Allies to us in good Ol’ Dixie Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie's Land [Chorus] There's Texas big and rich and healthy, But I’d still choose to live in Dixie; Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land And Way up north in Big Montana, Pretty as it is, I prefer Atlanta, Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land [Chorus] Now here's a health to all our allies Peace and friendship ‘neath all of our own skies; Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land But if you want to drive 'way sorrow Come and hear this song tomorrow Look away! Look away! Look away! Dixie Land [Chorus]
