Y'all gotta get out of this preset only mindset because every single plugin I've ever used the factory presets never show its full capability. Once you learn how to make your own patches and utilize every part of the plugin you get much better results than any preset can give you

Seriously, as much as I love new plugins and the inspiration they can bring, people dont even learn the basics of one of their synths, and they might own dozens. I use presets, but I often customize them to fit my song better, it just saves time having a foundation that's close. Why redo what someone else has already gotten to like 80%

All of cherry audios plugins are awesome. If you check humble bundle regularly, every couple months they release a bundle with several cherry synth vsts. I've got almost all of them and got them in humble bundles. I just got sample tank max from humble bundle plus like 15 expansions for 30 bucks. Don't sleep on humble bundle.

I actually love them both! I fall into and out of love with plugins all of the time, I used to love portal for years but I’ve recently use Beam more if that makes sense😅 both are awesome is my summary haha

why is all audio in mono?

@@DixonBeats in general, all the latest videos on your channel are completely in mono. That is, if you show me how the reverb sounds , I can't listen to it because everything is in mono. I noticed this problem a long time ago on this channel.

Nobody else has mentioned it 😭 I recently moved from Final Cut Pro to Davinci and must have it as a default setting. They’ll be fixed going forwards. I just checked and it’s set to 7.1 which is Dolby “an advanced surround sound system, known for its ability to provide an more immersive sound experience” 🤷🏻‍♂️

Fun fact: If you look at Lofi Oddity (a free plugin by Aberrant) you will notice that it's a combination of all Aberrant plugins' mix knobs into one plugin! Lair's mix knob is "Weird Message", Shapeshifter's mix knob is "comp", Digitalis' mix knob is "corruption" and Sketchcassette's mix knob is "tape". (I might be wrong about this but confirm which exact buttons from each plugin sum up to Lofi Oddity) :)
