Thank you very much for the video. I am from Montreal. Just bought myself a 996 turbo manual transmission. Love the car. Going to change engine oil , transmission oil and front diff oil in April (snowing right now in Montreal). Thank you again for the video.

thank you much for this very useful video. Is it right, that there is no rear diff-oil, that i need to change? Is the rear-diff included into the trans? Thanks a lot in advance for your feedback

Thanks Bro! I appreciate the input. How is paradise and the fleet of tractors today?
@ffrontbunch51515 жыл бұрын
It’s nice today little hot tho lol no tradewinds, as far as the fleet pretty much all gone just a couple more in here for repairs. Dealing with a case tractor that needs a new compressor for the air conditioner lol
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme5 жыл бұрын
I feel for you my friend. I have endless tractors that need work. Do you repair and rent? I am a wimp. I have to have AC in the tractor cab if it is 70 degrees. I can only imagine over there with the humidity.
@ffrontbunch51515 жыл бұрын
The company I work for sells, repairs, and rents tractors, the farm ones are mostly can with ac some of the other construction equipment are open cab I guess they like to eat dust 🤣

I am going to be having a baby soon, so I will be parking my FD for a while. What do you think about me driving one of these to still look youthful?
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme5 жыл бұрын
That is a good question my friend. My girl drives a 997S and we have a 3 year old. This makes her one of the coolest Moms around, but she is always fighting to get our daughter into the car seat and needs more cargo area. Any 911 Turbo would make you a super cool Mom, but you may need another vehicle to take trips in that has more room.

Would you ever consider doing a video on how to pin the coolant lines? Did you have it done on this car? I am considering buying one of these within the next year or so and have always worked on my own cars (japanese cars..love hondas and toyotas) but am concerned that if i dont take it to a dealer to do this sort of thing it will lose some of its value. Ive read people say you only need to pin the lines if you track the car. What do you think? I dont plan on tracking mine ..thats what my integra is for!
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme3 жыл бұрын
I would consider doing a video on how to pin the cooling lines if I was going to do it to my 996 Turbo my friend. I do not track my car, so I have not done it. You have a very good question, and I do not believe your car would lose some of its value if the job was done properly. It has been a long time since I looked into pinning the coolant lines, but I will research it again.

@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme Thank you. I've also heard that people replace all the vacuum lines as well when they do this. Do you drive your 996 alot? I know you've got quite the collection ..
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme3 жыл бұрын
Replacing the vacuum lines would be a wise move. I do not drive my 996 Turbo or any of my cars as much as I would like to. Traveling is my top priority these days. How much do you drive your 996 Turbo?

9:09 Dry Sump Oil BLAST!!! Beware!! ...hate this on my 996TT ...any suggestions on how to reduce oil splash and catch that oil which roars out of the dry sump?? This is more of a problem for us trying to change oil with a limited high lift or no lift. I almost want to install a reducer fitting to cut that dry sump drain flow.
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme4 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend. The blast is quite fierce. The reducer fitting is a good idea. I can see how that would be an issue on the ground. Let me know what you end up doing. 😁👍
@matpatte2 жыл бұрын
If you leave the oil cap on, and crankcase sealed up, it should come out of the dry sump tank slower as you are not introducing air into the crankcase.

Sorry, I just saw this my friend. I come up with 8.99 liters on the initial fill and .473 liter to top off. Good Luck!

Is Porsche a lot better for a daily driver than Ferrari or Lamborghini?
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme5 жыл бұрын
Hello my friend. That is a good question. If running cost is not a concern, then I would go with Lambo or Ferrari. In my experience, Porsche is a bit more reliable, and is much more affordable to put miles on. 😁
@j.d.21705 жыл бұрын
@@AdamSaruwatariXtreme Mclaren seems to be getting very popular. Are you going to get one? What do you think about them as a daily driver?
@AdamSaruwatariXtreme5 жыл бұрын
Those are very good questions. I drove a 720S, and it was really fast. The car was just too civilized for me. I work on a farm, so I need a Raptor for every day use. I prefer something that is more challenging when I am able to take a blast in the back roads. As far as every day use, driveability is excellent. I just do not know how it is in the reliability and running cost department.
