will agree with how wonderfully bright and inviting she’s made this apartment (painting the back of the apt door really helps too) it’s too bad we couldn’t see how the apt could really be lived in with the tenant’s own furniture - not a fan of “staged apts” they look like store displays - also if her intentions for that shelf were for it to be a desk then she should have at least doubled the depth of the shelf or make a drop leaf front - as is the shelf isn’t even deep enough for her book little own a laptop or other things you would use a desk for - while I have lived in small (not micro like this) studio apts since 1979 (my present one since 1998) have never had a sink of any kind immediately inside the apt - can’t begin to imagine how it will function as a bathroom sink as well as kitchen sink - toothbrush in an oversized coffee mug anybody - here again seeing how a tenant would set things up would have be great - YT recommends the most interesting videos at the strangest time - am in Canada and had been watching today’s news - your video a great reminder that life isn’t all bleak and can be incredibly creative - thnx for sharing 🇨🇦🙏

This is really well thought out and useful. Perfect for a minimalist or a person who needs a business/work crash pad during the week. A student, a single person who just graduated and got their first real job etc. so many people would find that a desirable space and i bet it rented out or sold very quickly. Congrats on that one.

This is honestly incredible, because these kinds of regular Japanese apartments there is clearly something missing in general, because they have such tiny kitchens for instance, and you've transformed the space into such a cosy home, and made the smallness of the space work in its favour rather than against it. Absolutely incredible.

Turned out really nice! 😍 Only things I would have done differently is that, if your imagined tenant is a student, you're going to need both a deeper desk and a power outlet right next to it or inside the cubby space the desk in. Also, ALL curtains should be blackout curtains for a student, trust me on that. 😅 I'm not sure about the placement of the door hooks either. Two on either side of the peephole makes more sense to me. Otherwise, well done! 😀👍

Here in the Netherlands we make more noise and we are less gracious. It is inspiring, trying to find more peace and calm. It looks wonderful, the room, I did wonder a bit if the desk area is not too small? Was there a reason the workspace did tot extend further into the room?

Gorgeous transition and appreciate the music versus talking. One suggestion as it needs many multi use is perhaps a drop leaf table where the chair is so when it’s down they can store something behind small folding chairs to use when table is up for dining with friends? Love the space

I would widen the "desk-shelf" or make it a drop-down desk. I would also widen the storage unit beneath the window and cushion it to make a proper window seat. Finally, as I can't stand the "Kitchen in the entry-hall" layout as in so many New York apartments, I would hang either a beaded curtain or vertical blinds in front of the counter. I love the color-scheem and general decor of the room, though. 😊

Perfectly designed for a small studio and executed with precision. I would like to see the toilet/shower room and the bed & clothes storage areas. The video was well put together and flowed smoothly so that my attention was drawn to the end. The only things I would criticize are the depth of the desk space which is much too small and the spacing of the door hooks which are too close together and wouldn't fit a couple of bulky coats or bags, (assuming that is what they might be used for). The colours are perfect and soothing for a student or person wanting to feel calm and focused.

I absolutely love the finished look, it's soooo elegant 🤩 However i wonder why you couldn't simply paint the ceiling, it seems that it would've been easier on such a small surface ? Also i do believe that the joints of the beautiful kitchen tile you picked still needed to be filled because those spaces look too deep and would be a nightmare to clean, especially the grease after cooking on the stove 😬

If you had ordered a longer blind, you could have hung it higher (almost at ceiling height), and then let the blind down to the top of the actual window, which would give the illusion of a much taller window.... maybe next time! It all looks very beautiful and cohesive though, a job very well done! 😍
