DIY A-frame cabin. Part 15. Terraces and gutters.

At this stage of construction, I made a terrace board, applied terrace oil twice, installed a floor on the terraces, installed a step at the entrance to the house and installed gutters on both sides of the roof. This summer is very rainy, the road to the house is not always in good condition because of the rains, and it delays the construction process a bit, but I have already put gutters on the house and now the house feels better.

Great quality of work on the decking/terraces. Everything from your chamfered edges to the oil coating shows your attention to detail which shall help the cabin endure. The gutters - so difficult to get right - are perfect too as the brief rain video shows. So enjoy seeing your work and its quality. I am sure you will really enjoy the cabin when it is completed. Are the two cuts in the bottom of the deck boards, to stop warpage, never seen that done before, here in the states?

These cuts seem to relax the board)))), but the floor does not lose its strength.
