a quick tip on bleaching your clothes, if you cover the spots with hydrogen peroxide for a bit before rinsing it it neutralizes the bleach! That way the fabric doesn't degrade more and removes the risk of skin irritations!

I get so happy when you post I'm non binary too but everyone disrespects my pronouns because I wear the hijab but I am getting into alt fashion lately and hopefully get money to buy some clothing. I thought that was a runner, but scarves are made in all different widths and lengths. They can also tie the strings on the ends around their arms to hold it in place. Very nice. (Jan Griffiths).

I recently started my more alt phase and I feel the same as you about getting older and being more confident and dressing the way you Actually Want To!! I had a pretty rough upbringing and didn't really have a lot of time or energy to do anything for myself. I was really into the idea of customizing my clothes, but at the time I really wanted to start, I was Going Thro It mentally and ended up having to ditch all my ideas. Now I'm 20 and feel like I'm dressing the way I would've wanted to when I was 16 because that's what's comfortable and fun for me; alt fashion is a way of reclaiming my teenage years that I never really had

This also came at the perfect time because I have a thrifting date on Saturday and I like to make little lists for things to look out for. I really loved all of the patches you made to go on everything and oh my goodness, the plaid dress at the end of the video was SPECTACULAR!!!! I can't wait to see part two!. Hugs to you and yours! PS. I love getting yarn from the thrift store, I just finished crocheting a GIANT blanket out of all thrifted yarn and I am very happy with how it turned out. This is such a lovely video, really excellent finds and then fantastic finishing touches! I've been into alt fashion (mainly goth) for a couple decades now, and I have had some great times putting together alternative flea markets. Getting the people with excess alt stuff and the people looking for new alt stuff conveniently together at the same spot, you know? There haven't been any recently for obvious reasons, and there's boxes and boxes of the stuff in the attic. So lately I noticed a few of the village kids who are getting to the point of figuring out their own styles are leaning in this direction and got really happy, then I thought about how tricky it was to get cool things at that age, so now they're going to get to pick through those boxes at a massive discounts even by flea market standars, because yay alt fashion! :D

The last part of the video made me tear up 🖤 It's been a hard few years, and this past week has been rough because my senior kitty is having issues and I'm really worried about him. I've been really beating myself up about it, especially today, so your kind words gave me a nice warm hug. Last night I finally contacted a tattoo artist about a tattoo I've wanted for like, decades (got the sticker when I was around 11 or so I think? Am 36 now). So hopefully that'll be a nice treat to myself in the coming months :)

I didn’t think of making my own patches, though i do like getting patches from other artists that i got from etsy. I haven’t got to sewing them on my gray denim jacket. I’m thinking about painting on clothes too. I’ve tried thrifting online and i like a few pieces of clothes that i owned, but I’m very sensitive to strong scents that were left on some clothes and even after washing them several times doesn’t work as I couldn’t wear them without getting allergies, feeling itchy, and headaches. I have no choice but to buy new, even sales and only being more selective in the specific aesthetics that i like. It’ll take me a while to be able to dress for myself and be comfortable wearing it more. This channel have given me plenty of inspiration and even better from an awesome nonbinary person. As a fellow punk rocker, I have the same feelings towards cheetah print - it's not colourful enough! But I learnt it actually looks amazing with the classic red tartan and helps to spice up the look. I still don't have full cheetah print clothing, but I made myself some fluffy bon-bon cheetah earrings, got cheetah boots and a scrunchie and they are really cute accessories. I am also planning to DIY a red tee with a cheetah heart (like the one from unif). I think a plaid skirt could also look cute with cheetah patches

I think that depends a lot on specifics. Are there dresscodes, are most of the teachers nice, are you highly affected by what others say, do you get bullied for it enough that it's not worth it etc. I know that for me personally it never mattered what I'd wear at school, people would be rude about it wether it was jeans and a t shirt, a simple sundress or a full on punk outfit. So in a case like that I'd say just do what you would outside school, talk yourself into the confidence, it will help you in the long run. If you notice people do change behaviour a lot based on your looks, maybe just test the waters gently, see what's still comfortable.

Thank you ! The choker is from Wish (the app) that sounds like an AMAZING hoodie I would reccomend getting spikes from Ali Express , but it you search “large tree spikes” on google there’s tons of stores online that sell them :-)
