I like your DIY Ammo Can build Mark! Have you considered sheet metal inside the Can for extra protection, and perhaps a secondary air intake? There is some real nice build to watch out here on KZbin, and I have decided to build one .50 Cal Ammo Can Stove myself, just have to gather up the best tips first!

Thanks for watching. I had looked at quite a few builds. I really wanted to keep it pretty simple and light. I will see after this year if not beefing it up was a mistake. I was debating a secondary intake but after using it burned so well without it. I am currently building a 20lbs propane tank stove so I can get a longer burn time on an over night. Even a 3 hour burn time would be nice.

Maybe could rivet some angled sheet metal for the grill to sit on. I've seen that baffle idea. I need to remember that.
