i love this channel and the build, but routing with a drill chuck is a huge safety nope ... it's a matter of time until the sharp routing bit, rotating with a dozen thousands of rpm, decides to start flying in a random direction and that is unless the whole chuck decides to go flying first

And the wobble or Run-out of a grinder shaft bearing is several times as loose as a Router bearing, not to mention the poor excentricity of a drill chuck compared to a much precise and tighter router Collet. The amount of time and money spent on this badly conceived idea is not at all justified, a complete waste of time, most probably done as a "Click-bait" to gather clicks!

if there is a vertical drilling machine in the workshop, then most likely, there is any other special tool there and there is no need to "reinvent the wheel" 😅
