Making A Drill Guide || Perfect Straight Hole Drill Stand

This drill attachment is used to drill perfectly straight holes. I used 19mm plywood, 12mm smooth rods, 3/8 UNF 5-inch length bolt with nut, bearings, supports, 13mm drill chuck, and 16mm compression springs to make this drill guide. I hope you like this video. Thank you.

@@MCsCreations Agreed. I was referring to the holes he made at around 2:00, of course he did it freehand with a drill, but the shaky hands that I have would require a drill press for that part. lol

@@MCsCreations Yeah, sometimes you need a dead straight hole in something that can't be brought to the drill press. Therefore, a jig like this is useful. But @Phyooms' point is well taken - getting the initial holes straight for the jig would be challenging. Ironically that would be a good job for a drill press.
