Hey, how did you export the codes from the OPEN PLC software to build folder in your drive can you tell me plz.

You need to connect the board to your computer, then click on the Arduino Icon in OpenPLC editor. this will open the 'Upload to Arduino Board' window, In this window. 1. Select your board type (mine is Nano Board but Flashed with Uno Boot Loader so I selected Arduino Uno) 2. Select the correct com Port your Board is connected to. 3. After Click on 'Upload' button. Kindly check the last part of the video for this step (around 18:50 play time) Hope this answers your question. thanks

Can i change the Arduino Nano with the Arduino Nano ESP32? I checked all the pin is same
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819 Ай бұрын
If you've checked and they match, then you can replace. however, the voltage level of the Nano IO is 5V please confirm if ESP32 board you have IO's can handle 5V. Hope this helps thanks

I just realised that there is no 5V pin. How to I connect my VCC pin of PIR sensor to the Arduino PLC?
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819 Ай бұрын
@@hanssuait Yes you are right. The Idae was to make the PLC input handle only higher Voltage. You can overcome this by building a simple leveling circuit for it. Kindly check this tutorial out kzbin.info/www/bejne/bWqzeoFvrMl-sNU

Hi, I have a question regarding opto isolation, does the buck converter in your design provide this?
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819 Жыл бұрын
if I understand your question correctly, the Opto-isolators are only at the input pin to allow a wide rang of input voltage form say 5V to 24V, it also protect the arduino input pins. the Buck converter converts the 12V input supply to 5V for the arduino board since the converter is a module type, I don't really know if it has onboard Opto-isolator . guess this helps thanks for your question.
@markdevlin653
@markdevlin653 Жыл бұрын
Hi, thanks for getting back to me, what I meant in my original question is, if the buck converter doesn’t have an isolated output, then there will be no galvanic isolation provided by the opto isolators because the input and output of the opto isolators are using the same ground point.

@@markdevlin653 oh Ok I get you now, I didn't consider that in this design will try and do that in the next version. thanks for the info I really appreciate.
@markdevlin653
@markdevlin653 Жыл бұрын
Hi, no probs, You could consider using b2405s 24 V to 5V with isolated output.

Good job 👏. How much time did you spend to do this? I mean in proteus. What about think which is better do like this project in proteus or kicad?
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819
@engineeringmadeeasyingme6819 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for the compliment. I Haven't used kicad that much so can't speak to that. However with proteus it's pretty straight forward within 2hour you should be able to implement it using the auto routing functionality. The time consuming part is the circuit design planing which in my opinion has nothing to do with the PCB design software. If you have a clear layout plan you will spend less time implementing it in the PCB software. Hope this helps. Thank
