Completed our patio floor extension by using paver with decorative shadow rocks! Using pavers added to the appeal of your patio and created a new destination to the backyard! Creating destinations in the backyard is a KEY component to making your backyard look and feel like a place to get away from your everyday stress. I hope you enjoyed this video. I already had shovels, the wheel barrow, racks and other tools before hand so I didn't add those in the cost.

Thank you for sharing your video! I live in Cypress, Texas and I am glad I saw your video because it will help me next month with my side yard paver project. Fyi, our 15 year old subdivision is getting new fences put in next week and we were told that the fence contractor requires an 18 inch minimum clearance to install the new fence. Just yesterday I was having to remove gravel and smaller pavers away from the fence lines that will be replaced on our property. It was a real pain (especially the gravel) to say the least. So knowing this requirement by fence contractors, my next paver project will have only small pavers against the fence.

I think this is doable! Live in Spring with a similar backyard and need to maximize my outdoor space. Thought of pavers and grass inbetween but the railroad blast looks beautiful!

Totally doable. Wasn’t too hard at all. It went easier having to have all the material at the ready so I can just keep moving forward, but totally doable and worth the work.
