What about cutting something curving into Balsa? Should I just switch material's? Example....I want to build onto or modify a models wings by adding the characteristic Raven's Wing Five Fingers

Quality content once again. I'm sort of on a hobby hiatus because... well life, and the KZbin algorithm wasnt showing your upload very clearly, but I'm glad I saw this!

Good luck! 15mm is a bit small for me haha. I hope to see them on your channel

Hey, if you have a 3d printer and want the files let me now, and I'll convince my dad to release them on thingyverse or something Edit: here you go www.thingiverse.com/thing:3650647

It'd definitely be great to have it on Thingiverse! I just poked around on a few online stores and none of the existing ones are quite as nice as your design; most of them use exacto blades, blech!

I would love to get the 3d print files for sure.

Great video and nice tool that you've made!! I hope that water tower you whipped up makes it into a video someday! Also... Are you just using a razor blade on your nice butcherblock table??
@Miscast5 жыл бұрын
Thanks brent! You haven't seen the sinister happenings going on inside the water tower yet. There will be a video on water... ah liquid effects soon. Also, yes, life is short

Great video man. Your videos always motivate me to craft and i think that your chill relaxing style of videos should really be at the forfront of what this hobby is realy like. I love the other boys like dmscott and BMC, but your channel is so unique and wonderful that it gives real appeal to the hobby. Just pace yourself and keep up the good work man.

This series is the fucking best. My terrain worries are out the window. No more $150 sets of like 6 mdf walls with badly textured designs.
@TheDarkOne5085 жыл бұрын
I am so glad to see your videos again. Any reason why you dropped "terrain" from "miscast terrain"?
@Miscast5 жыл бұрын
Thanks! I dropped terrain because I'm active in all areas of the hobby; wargaming, role-playing, modeling, 3d printing, painting sometimes even prop making. I'd love to cover some of those things in the future if I'm regularly more releasing videos.

Great idea! Actually I once bought a pack of trapezoid knife blade (don't know if it's how they are called worldwide :D) with holes, made by YATO i think. I have to try making such stripper (stripper! Huehuehue) with blade mounted with screws - it should be more durable and easily replacable.
@Miscast5 жыл бұрын
Great idea. I haven't seen those blades. I typically just buy the cheapest bulk ones I can find haha! Thanks for the info!

Hi so I have a question have you or are you going to make the 3D Print files available for free or download or purchase. Looks like a very well made design compared to the other such cutters on the market. Blessings Pastor Randy Bourque Very informative video I actually built a copy of your cathedral and put some lights in it looks pretty cool.

I was hoping to see a comment like this, I reckon I can twist my dad's arm to release the files. Otherwise, balsa wood strippers are pretty inexpensive to buy from a hobby store or online :)

You win for simple! “we’ll just glue this blade on to some foam board” , not liking anything I found on line I spent an entire weekend desginging and iterating an adjustable one of my own.
