• Prints without supports

INSTALL INFO for Driven Pulley:
• Use three (3) screws M5 x 30mm
• Designed to fit the VEVOR 10" bandsaw listed above.
• Must remove saw blade and lower wheel and remove existing, stock, injection-molded, driven pulley to replace it with this printed part.
• Negates use of stock drive pulley - see link above for replacement drive pulley
• Negates use of stock drive belt - see link above for replacement drive belt
ADVANTAGES OF THIS UPGRADE:
• Facilitates upgrading stock 0.5HP motor to the 1.5HP motor listed above
• Greatly increases transmission of added torque from stronger motor, yielding stronger sawing capacity and re-sawing capacity

Is there a RPM difference from old to new motor? That new motor seems to be spinning much faster than the old one. How long do you think that plastic driven gear is going to last in this application?

As you can tell, in the process of this change, I went from having a stock setup that offered a choice of two speeds, to a modified setup that offers only one speed. My new pulley sizes are relatively close to one of the two stock setups. I will have to check the rotation speed of the new motor, and do some math, based on my new pulley sizes, to calculate what kind of speed I’m now getting on the blade. I know at this point only that it cuts. I’m pleased with it. I have no idea what the lifespan will be for the printed plastic pulley, but I can always come back with another report, if it wears out. Hopefully it lasts fine.

I think you probably would've spent more on the 14" band saw than your price list indicates, because the greater length of that blade would cost more than the length required for the 10" saw. Great video.

Shaft diameter, motor mounting hole pattern, pulley bore. Electrical capicity of switch, and any fuseing or over loads.

Hello! Thanks for watching. The shaft of the new motor is 5/8" with a 3/16" keyway. The diagram with the motor mount holes is provided in the printables.com download link in the description. The specs on the drive pulley are shown in a screen shot in the Printables.com download page. The switch itself is the stock switch that came on the bandsaw. It is like ones I have seen that are rated for both 115v and 230v. I am using the 115v wiring option. I'm running on a standard household breaker, 20amp. I have not had any issues with overloads or breakers tripping.
