You should be soooo proud of yourself. You saved your family at least 2k! New cabinet and countertop - 1k.... paying to have the walls tiled 500 plus and the floor another 500 plus. Your bathroom update is so fresh. I would only do one thing differently. When paining cabinets I prefer to use a high adhesion primer and a paint made for cabinets. It's more durable. I've had paint peel without the primer. Otherwise, I love your update! So nice.

Just a painting tip, roll your paint on the wall in a "W formation" this gets the paint on faster and more coverage hence less energy. Great Job !!!!!

I prefer to use this style tile cutter over a wet saw. They come in different sizes and you may need a larger cutter if using larger tiles.

this video was super relevant (and inspiring!) to what I needed to see and it just popped up in my feed. I'm trying to figure out how to revive the 90s oak cabinet downstairs bathroom. I've been wondering whether to paint the cabinets and have been trying to figure out the kind of metal for the new bathroom hardware sets. I have been meaning towards the brushed gold with the rounded edges and I love how it gives contrast and color and class to the space. I have these tarnished brass knobs and hinges and the Crock-Pot idea is brilliant. I bet it will give them new life. I love you hat you have such a calm and organized approach, you stay focused and have attention to detail and I just think you are so awesome at what you did and the whole video. bravo 👏

I would definitely have a go at installing real tiles - I have never had the confidence to try it before and it's sooo expensive to pay a contractor to do it! Yours looked so professional 😎

Thank you! The cutter really came in handy! Home Depot and Lowes will cut tiles for you if you purchase from their stores, but it is easier to have a tile cutter on hand for straight cuts! 🛠🛠
