HI ANGELS! WE'RE DOING A DIY BATHROOM MAKEOVER!
My friend Shannon has a small apartment in Los Angeles, and the bathroom is old and outdated. So I am showing you how to redo your bathroom on a budget! Painting, marble counters, and a full new look, this whole project was cheap and easy and quick! And has an amazing before and after - not to mention the room now has a Tumblr worthy instagram aesthetic and we did it all by ourselves! No men (and no professionals haha) needed :P

Tip: put silicone around sink, it's also removable and allows contact paper to last longer, because of water spillage around sink. Well done girl 😍

Step 1: Maybe clean the bathroom? :/ No hate I love the makeover, just thought it could be better to wipe that counter top, backsplash, clean the mirrors, dust the walls, clean the tub and the rug... Of course it's great to make it pretty, but a foundation of cleanliness is important in my opinion

Sarah Ben Salem I’m sure they did! At 3:23 Shannon is cleaning the counter tops (I think the marble sticker sticks better to clean surface), the mirror looks cleaner at the end of the video than it did at the beginning, maybe the tub wasn’t dirty? And I’m sure they got rid of the rug because it didn’t fit the aesthetic they were going for.

@@Melidraconis I get your point, I saw the mirror too, but it's not a ''deep clean'' like I would have expected. Maybe I'm just a cleaning maniac, but I like the whole room to be clean from top to bottom, left to right, before I add any decor/paint/curtains etc

@@amyarranaga7101 Maybe it's just me cuz I'm a cleaning maniac, but the stains on the walls are easily removable with some water and dish soap, just got to dry them right after so they don't mold. That vanity could have been cleaned and the stained removed with some baking soda. Personally, I dust the ceilings quite regularly (read ''The Butler Speaks'' a really comprehensive guide on homemaking) and clean the walls and baseboards maybe 2-3 times a year. Always clean a room from top to bottom/left to right to make sure it is thorough!
