I think he’s using tile in the shower, so it’ll be cement backer board in there, not drywall.
@ericschnelten11933 жыл бұрын
My ignorance is going to show here. But what type of saw did you use when cutting out the hole for your vent?
@TheFixerHomeRepair3 жыл бұрын
Hey, Eric! I call it a rotozip. It is basically a rotary tool that you can get drywall bits for. The tip of the bit has a smooth surface that rides along whatever you are cutting around and the rest of the bit cuts the drywall. Thanks for the comment!
@ericschnelten11933 жыл бұрын
Cool thank you. I don’t know if I’m going to replace my ceilings, but I’ve got paneling that has to come down and I’ll need to hang drywall eventually on some walls. This should work for the outlets and light switches.

It seems your good at your job. You know what to do and you are doing it by yourself. Instead of focusing on KZbin and the viewers here, why don’t you create your own company and still call it THE FIXER INC. And, train guys like you and hire them and expand your company in the U.S., or, focus on serving one city and become a legitimate company that many people need to hire to fix their own home. If you do pursue on creating your own construction company, then you will serve your community and become rich. For example, I would like to hire you to fix many things in my house. But, hiw can I even think of talking to you about fixing my property, if you are here, on KZbin, not having a company? You are a good honest hard working man. And, by watching you, you are really skilled to do a great job, and people need you. Become a company and contact me. I want to hire you to fix my property.

Thanks for the feedback, Baba. Trying to show it is not as easy as a 30 minute DIY show you see on tv. I want to show every detail that I go through during a remodel so people can learn to ACTUALLY do it themselves. If you don’t want to watch it, there are plenty of other videos out there. Again, thanks for the feedback.

Vast majority of his viewers will disagree with this. Some of us take these as learning experiences as we do our own DIY home repairs and apply his solutions to our own problems we encounter Luckily for you, he does a time lapse of the overall project when he’s done!
